Serene September, a moon of surrender, of dancing a path of devotion and seeing blessings everywhere, a moon of shedding old skins like the trees dropping leaves, a moon of being sacred space, of living simply, of simply living, a moon of massive earth movement, a moon of diving deeply into the ocean and opening the portal to the river below the river, a moon of resting on grandmother’s lap as the water flows freely flooding the landscape, a moon of witnessing and waiting for the water to settle trusting that it will, a moon of being blessingway…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 133 – 4/28/2015
come to the river beloved
come to the river beloved
come to the river beloved
on the third call, i hear the waters of the heart
and respond like every other day in this moon by diving deeply
into the ocean of being, jumping off the cliff into the unknown
to listen with the heart in the space beyond words…
here, in the stillpoint, i surrender into the most profound rest
germinating a new energy enlivening every cell to primal wildness
awakening as dragonfly, weaver of light, winged one of translucence

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 79 – 3/5/2015
this moment is a miracle… this day is a miracle…. this moon a miracle… this month is a miracle… so, today, may we honor and celebrate every breath trusting our buddha nature…
In Tibet, this day is named Monlam, the Day of Miracles. Established by Lama Tsongkhapa in 1409 at the lunar new year to commemorates the Buddha’s display of spiritual power and create the space for virtuous activity, it is a very powerful time to practice, increase one’s commitment to virtuous activity and give with generosity.
may we all dance in the rhythm of this miraculous moment hand in hand with the ancestors and the generations on the way…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 18 – 1/3/2015
breathing in
rhythm with waves
our one heart smiling
on all free and easy wanderers
sauntering in beauty along the rainbow trail
where boulders transform into floating clouds blowing in the wind
as we rest in the vast emptiness of this big sky moment stretching on forever
~
thank you for walking me home
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 3 – 12/19/2014
13 moons ago, this prayer dreamed me… i was driving over a bridge with my mother when suddenly a tsunami appeared… now, i am swimming in dark water knowing i must find my mother who is not a strong swimmer… after what seemed an eternity, i surrendered realizing all i could do was go with the flow… instantaneously i was transported to paradise and then to our beach cottage where i found my daughter… i knew i had to call my siblings but it was the last thing i wanted to do…
as i waited for them to answer my call, i felt movement behind me and turned around to see my mother standing there in my nightgown with my hair and smile – best miracle ever! during this wholly season, sometimes it feels like a tidal wave of abundance… i re-member the dream and surrender to this sea of love energy we are… i breathe into the stillness of this sacred space as peace flows through in the rhythm of the waves…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 2 – 12/18/2014
day before yesterday was powerful – 365 days on the path of devotion, the poetic peace pilgrimage… yesterday as well was remarkable – 3 years dwelling in the abundance of infinite love and gratitude and so many more of celebrating 1st Flight and then there was a little surgery to remove the veil from my eye – i smile with the universe removing the clouds enabling heart soaring flight…
today, i tune into cosmic turtle hum going with the flow which moves me more deeply into the tiny space where i live and savoring this space and this moment of being the stillpoint, of standing in the center, of dancing the sacred spiral journey, of being home wherever i may be and celebrating with another dance that transports us all to a magical realm where we re-member we are children of the light…
and so as i drift into dreamtime, thousandfold thanks dance through me along with the sugar plum fairies…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Day 364 – December 15, 2014
on this next to last day of year one of the poetic peace pilgrimage, this water baby is reflecting on and celebrating this flowing in beauty turn around the sun… a year of breathing in, being water, fire, earth, air, moon, sun, planet, wind…. moment after moment of dancing in the rhythm of the waves of rainbow light… always being love…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Day 362 – December 13, 2014
the more deeply i dwell in divine presence continuously chanting make me an instrument of peace and the more wholeheartedly i surrender to love, the more i am taken to places i could not imagine… on this auspicious date, 12-13-14, as i look back over 362 days of tripping, i am so loving the beauty of unfolding mystery…
The Journey
One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice–
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
“Mend my life!”
each voice cried.
But you didn’t stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do–
determined to save
the only life you could save.

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Day 339 – November 20, 2014
the heart of this tree, a childhood favorite haunting place, pulls me inside today giving the space for quiet integration of the momentous move of the last few moons… so much is coming in during this great turning and what once worked sems to now be obsolete as if we all have a new operating system and no manual…
so, i come home to the heart to sit in emptiness, to just be in this moment and breathe in the rhythm of the waves grounding myself in earth mother as the wind blows through and ignites a wildfire out of heart’s embers…
surrendering to the path of heart, sitting in emptiness in the stillpoint of creation, i await the birth of the new from the ashes of the old as darkness turns into light…
