Ash Wednesday Walk into Radical Simplicity
Gray is the color of this day on the path of emptiness
Adventurous the mood on the rooftop of boundlessness
As i move toward a portal to the below,
a child follows me, a child i don’t know.

Where is his Mother? Why isn’t he in tow?
His spirit is so open desiring to explore the great below.
Coming together, we step down the spiral staircase,
hearts linked as one now for whatever we face.

We come to a turning point, which way to go,
which of the many paths will keep us in flow?
Breathe in the stillness, creation will follow.

Grandmother Beloved, great heart of compassion
embracing us all in the waters of love
weaving a web for all our relations
flowing in beauty wherever we go.

Today is a R & R day on the pilgrimage – i love stilling in the Blissness Blue Moon Lodge contemplating life as Haiku, a breathing moment moving from a wide angle view to one that is coming into focus to a zoom lens view as illustrated by the picture above and the two below.
This picture (above) represents the first line of the breathing moment when we’re sensing the forest, the big view. As we inspire again, we begin to settle in and our senses come into focus just as does the picture of the island below symbolizing the second line of the breathing moment…
Now, i’m breathing deeper into this moment being and becoming more awakened and alive. With the next breath, we shift focus again and zoom in…

Happiest of Trails!
The outer journey for this pilgrim remains on hold today so once again i venture on the inner journey… I feel like a bear coming out of my cave after a long winter’s nap, a little disoriented by the stimulation so i keep coming home to the breath traveling deeper and deeper into this moment where all is well. Now, i take a step out grounding into the earth re-membering how it feels, how i love it when the earth stands still, how my heart smiles and my feet dance, how in letting go and letting flow we are in rhythm with oneness…
Always being, always becoming. Always being love, always becoming love…
Awakened to a frozen world on with everyone encouraged to stay in and i am content to hibernate another day, to be on freeze frame… This past week has so centered on being still, letting go, flowing with what is… As cold as it has been, thank goodness for all the beautiful souls who keep the fires burning and whose very presence kindles creative fire anew.

Today begins zenfully in the Japanese Garden where everything is about being in the present moment, a sacred space i desire inhabiting with every breath, a place where we re-member that in stillness creativity flows, where we hear heart whispers when we open to the present moment…

Are you feeling the breath of the ancients breathing us on the pilgrimage today? I awaken to the winds blowing in grief and feel loss and begin to dance with this partner twirling and whirling into the beyond where in the silence i hear acutely the spirits whispering to turn loss around and it is sol, soul – the winding way of loss leads into the spacious emptiness of soul – Mahalo, Ancestors!
