yesterday i felt abandon, not the wild freeing abandon, but the scorned lover variety, until the sun, in the form of holy grandmother spider creatrix, peeked through the clouds offering warm embraces and whispered words of wisdom to be still in this moment of abandon, to trust this moment of surrender, to re-member the sun always shines and when it shines on rain, being is transformed into iridescent rainbow encircling the cosmos within and without converging in perfect harmony, in this moment, this beautiful moment of grace…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 45 – 1/30/2015
flowing in beauty down to the sea
being the soul of wherever i may be
when cold feet impede, wings carry me
over the rainbow into the sea
~
being the soul of wherever i may be
feeling the full moon rising in me
over the rainbow into the sea
dancing the mystery of infinity
~
feeling the full moon rising in me
I sway with you, you sway with me
dancing the mystery of infinity
over the rainbow into the sea
~
being the soul of wherever i may be
dancing the mystery of infinity
i sway with you, you sway with me
flowing in beauty down to the sea

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Day 347 – November 28, 2014
magical miraculous moment as we dance along the rainbow trail with rain softly kissing our faces and sun warmly embracing our bodies… out of the mists from the depths of the canyon, an echo of harmony resounds and colors the sky… we re-member we are boundless like the arc encircling pachamama and beautiful like the unchained melody of our multiverse…
a perfect moment in the rainbow state with hearts wide open to what is as the wind whispers bestowing blessings for all as we walk the sacred path of oneness…
mahalo… aloha…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Day 299 – October 11, 2014
as above, so below… as within, so without… so i’m feeling a bit fruit loopy today and sense it’s the perfect moment to travel to the fruit loop and ground in the earth and sky, sun and rain as the winds blow briskly bringing the spirits back… light flowing freely through puffy clouds with maize in the maze dancing in rhythm while drinking in the gentle rain and calming under lavender’s aromatic spell… whirling and swirling as we circle the loop, enchanted by the light around earth’s hoop… celebrating another turn around the sun, seeing a sign signifying we are one… thank you beautiful rainbow bridging the worlds… what a treasure is this like a necklace of pearls…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Day 288 – September 30, 2014
for this last day of soulful september’s blessingway walking the rainbow trail on the poetic peace pilgrimage, a perfect message appears…
Iraq War veteran Jacob George recently died by suicide. His poem was recently read posthumously at the White House and at the Climate Convergence in New York City at the UFPJ workshop.
Support the Troops
by Jacob George
“we just Need to support the troops”
is what they tell me
well, this is from a troop
so listen carefully
what we Need are teachers who understand the history of this country
what we Need is a decent living wage, so people ain’t cold and hungry
what we Need is bicycle infrastructure spanning this beauteous nation
what we Need are more trees and less play stations
what we Need is a justice system that seeks the truth
what we Need are more books and less boots
what we Need is love
for every woman and man
from southern Louisiana
to the mountains of Afghanistan
Now, it’s true
The troops need support
the support to come home
they need treatment and jobs
and love for the soul
see
war ain’t no good
for the human condition
I lost a piece of who I was
on every single mission
and I’m tellin’ you,
don’t thank me for what I’ve done
give me a big hug
and let me know
we’re not gonna let this happen again
because we support the troops
and we’re gonna bring these wars to an end
~
May Great Spirit’s rainbow blessing flow in beauty through all my relations…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Day 284 – September 26, 2014
so many rainbow moments on the pilgrimage…. yesterday, honoring earth’s song with a journey to sacred space and today being earthsong inspired by a most beautiful documentary, Song of the Earth, all about healing and making peace which inspires my re-membering a co-heart poetic peace pilgrim, Sue and her amazing grandmother Iva who profoundly touches Sue’s life. Both grandmother and granddaughter are natural healers with the ability to see rainbows and be a beauty blessingway for all… love the perfection of this double rainbow which is like a family portrait of Iva and Sue… thank you, thank you, thank you…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Day 282 – September 24, 2014
Halleluiah
Everyone should be born into this world happy
and loving everything.
But in truth it rarely works that way.
For myself, I have spent my life clamoring toward it.
Halleluiah, anyway I’m not where I started!
And have you too been trudging like that, sometimes
almost forgetting how wondrous the world is
and how miraculously kind some people can be?
And have you too decided that probably nothing important
is ever easy?
Not, say, for the first sixty years.
Halleluiah, I’m sixty now, and even a little more,
and some days I feel I have wings.

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Day 257 – August 30, 2014
perfect day at the beach… walking up the sand dune, hearing the waves, smelling the salt, feeling home, kissing the sand with barefeet, falling in love all over again with this magical water colored in hummingbird hues this overcast moment, immersing wholeheartedly in the sea is a holy sacrament like being consciously in the watery womb and as the wave of water breaks, we emerge like newborns into sunlight cradled in the lap of our mother the earth…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Day 238 – August 11, 2014
On this the hottest day of the pilgrimage, i feel fall’s approach and it’s not for the first time with skies darkening so much earlier in the evening and lightening later in the morning… Awaken in awe to hear of the spiders spinning webs with the falling stars, yes, the spirits are coming back as whispering winds… Welcome!
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Day 224 – July 28, 2014
Back home in Portalandia after a spectacular sojourn, it’s a wonderful day to reflect on this most recent magical mystery tour and celebrate my father’s life on what would be his 92nd birthday… He gifted me with his belief that i could do/be anything and i think he would have loved sharing the birthday pilgrimage with us, actually, he probably did walk with us because from the moment we entered the Olympic Peninsula we walked with the ancestors….
I love our gift of an extra day, the day out of time in the 13 moon calendar for us to begin the pilgrimage of surrender and then to enter wholeheartedly into Rainier on the new moon in Leo is an awesome blessing as was the hummingbird waiting for us at the entrance gate to lead us into joy beyond imagining…
I am completely and totally in love with this mountain, what a blessing to surrender all to her and to flow in beauty being the soul of the space where Tahoma dwells…
