as roots deepen into core

listen to whispers

Softly and insistently, the cosmic hum sings me into the way to walk home, the path with heart for today is to be held by our mother the earth and in being this sacred space, i heal or make whole the sacred wound of feeling separate from earth mother and be the true ultimate reality that we are one, we are all related and this is the new story we are all called to live by…

On this journey, I AM being in a deeper way…

each breath through our one heart centers

each step on earth mother a kiss

each communion with sun a celebration

each reunion with moon a dance

each moment in flow

On this road less traveled, I AM trusting more profoundly…

listening to the whispers from our one heart

aligning with cosmic wisdom

all flowing beauty

On this pilgrimage home, I AM surrendering more completely

re-membering we are love and that’s all that we need

living from the heart in thought word and deed

Ash Wednesday Walk into Radical Simplicity

Gray is the color of this day on the path of emptiness

Adventurous the mood on the rooftop of boundlessness

As i move toward a portal to the below,

a child follows me, a child i don’t know.

Where is his Mother? Why isn’t he in tow?

His spirit is so open desiring to explore the great below.

Coming together, we step down the spiral staircase,

hearts linked as one now for whatever we face.

~

We come to a turning point, which way to go,

which of the many paths will keep us in flow?

Breathe in the stillness, creation will follow.

Breathe in the stillness, heart whispers will know.

~

Grandmother Beloved, great heart of compassion

embracing us all in the waters of love

weaving a web for all our relations

flowing in beauty wherever we go.

Named Rumi JourneysI walked a road today that i have been distracting myself from traveling by having more pressing things to do/be and now that i’m at the end of this trail i am pleased that i “found” the wherewithal to do it.

At each crossroad, i listen deeply to decide how to proceed and trust that in surrendering to heart whispers, the right path will open.

as we celebrate what’s near…

Journey into Bliss

Neither rain nor snow nor sleet nor hail could deter our gathering today as we braved the elements to send off another pilgrim into the unknown. It’s been a whirlwind process, this lightening the load in order to soar freely carried by the heart. Love calls out today warming cod feet and pulling me onto the winding path… Beginning in the garden, our hearts smile as we breathe in the beauty embracing the moment as we walk into the old forest revering the growth and pruning the path to open the way. We learn so much about walking in beauty today as we chip away what is unessential, getting down to bare bones, coming into the truth that all pilgrims come to that less is more and small is beautiful.
