Song of Peace

“We pray to the great Spiritual Power in which
we live and move and have our being.
We pray that we may at all times
keep our minds open to new ideas and shun dogma;
that we may grow in our understanding of the nature of all living beings
and our connectedness with the natural world;
that we may become ever more filled with
generosity of spirit and true compassion and love for all life;
that we may strive to heal the hurts that we have inflicted on nature
and control our greed for material things, knowing that
our actions are harming our natural world and the future of our children;
that we may value each and every human being
for who he is, for who she is,
reaching to the spirit that is within,
knowing the power of each individual to change the world.”

every breath, every moment is a chance to be and make peace with the world…

this day, this ides of numina november, feels like the first day of the rest of my life and how potent to travel into my youth re-membering and being the dream of peace that is so fully alive in this moment, in every moment… so here i am almost a half a century ago while still a teen along with a half a million other people in Washington for the largest peace march ever… yes, squint your eyes and you can see me in the middle of the crowd standing around the reflection pool…  standing in love for love, calling for peace… in this moment, with this breath i stand with you and thousands of our relatives holding hands across the planet, across the invisible cosmic realms in love for love andpeace, deep peace of the running wave we are forever…

“I offer you peace.
I offer you love.
I offer you friendship.
I see your beauty.
I hear your need.
I feel your feelings.
My wisdom flows from the highest Source.
I salute that Source in you.
Let us work together. For unity and peace.”
