today, on this dog day of august after a journey to the healing temple to see if the transfusions are working, i come home to my cell and reflect just as i did on this very day four years ago as i fly home from Charlottesville across the vast expanse of mountains and plains, rivers and lakes, deserts and rainforests with so much calling for reflection and contemplation after bearing witness to a tragedy hundreds of years in the making and an intense acting out and foreshadowing of more violence in its wake…
in this re-membering, it also comes back to me that a year before these apocalyptic events, i had begun a weekly feature honoring one of us, a pilgrim on our shared journey of light who represented us all when our better angels are coming through clearly…
i began back in 2016 with the divine hummingbird who reminds us all of our birthright as children of the light.. one year later, another divine hummingbird, another pilgrim on our shared spirit path flies into our consciousness as we hear of Heather being plowed down by the driver of a car who wanted to put a stop to the astonishing beings of love who stood peacefully in love for love that fateful day…
as her proud mother proclaimed while grieving:
“I want her death to be a rallying cry for justice and equality and fairness and compassion…” just as her daughter’s life had been and the whole reason for coming to the white supremacist rally – to give voice to the love we are…
may we all come together across the cosmos to move the arc of justice towards its outer manifestation of love and compassion and peace and harmony re-membering our way onward is together as one…
let’s close our sacred ceremony for today with the Essene Communion for Saturday dedicating ourselves to living in the unity of our interbeing…
THE DEEPENING: Fasting is the first principle. Fast from negative thoughts, words and deeds. Fast from ego, pride and desire. Fast from all physical ills and Ye shall behold the strength and the wisdom of the spirit.
MORNING COMMUNION: The EARTHLY MOTHER and I are one. Blessed is the child who knoweth the Earthy Mother, for she is the provider and the sustainer of life. Her harvest becomes thy body, her waters become thy blood, her winds will carry thy spirit, and as each morning comes, I shall embrace her.
MEDITATION: The richness of the Mother’s garden surrounds us. The forces of nature toil unendingly for the benefit of all. For this we are blessed. The kingdom which guides and nurtures the plants and the forests is yet another manifestation of the Mother’s love for us, and we within this kingdom must return her blessings with respect, with caring, and with love.
NOON CONTEMPLATION: Peace with the HEAVENLY FATHER:
Ye that love thy Heavenly Father do Ye then his bidding; Walk Ye with his Holy Angels and you shall find peace within his Holy Law.
EVENING COMMUNION: Angel of ETERNAL LIFE I invoke thee; descend upon my soul and bless my spirit with the splendor and the knowledge of eternal life. And as each evening comes, I shall embrace thee.
THE BLESSING: The food upon my table shares its life with me. And as this life nourishes my body, one day my body shall nourish this earth. And until that time shall pass, I shall return her blessings with kindness, with respect, and with my love.
