holy synchronisiddhi! on this third day of nine days of the gateway of light, it is the feast day of st john of the cross, patron saint of contemplatives, mystics and poets… centuries ahead of the modern discovery of the unconscious, st john spoke of darkness, inner journeys, and the shadow self… his genius, his gift for the good of the whole was in living and speaking about the imperative, if we are to transform, of embracing the dark night of the soul and holding steadfast trusting in the benevolent great mystery to lovingly bring forth the light…
“The endurance of darkness is the preparation for great light.”

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 5 – Day 362 – 12/13/2018
on this second day of the gateway of light, i am greeted with the news that the united states senate overwhelmingly voted to officially pass the Yemen War Powers Resolution, introduced by Senators Bernie Sanders, Mike Lee, and Chris Murphy...
the senate has chosen to listen to the pleas of the people and to move toward ending U.S. complicity in the Saudi-led attacks in Yemen, where the humanitarian crisis is growing worse by the day and an estimated 85,000 children have already died… with this momentum from a strong bipartisan senate vote, we have a real chance to finally end U.S. involvement in this war…
thousandfold thanks peace wagers…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 5 – Day 361 – 12/12/2018
on awakening today, i feel so much light and feel so lightened… of course, for today is the 12/12 gateway, a powerful portal of light, the day dedicated worldwide to the Celebration of the Virgin of Guadalupe, Mother Mary who is presenting all our relations with an opportunity to receive a powerful gift of light to prepare each of us at a cellular level to receive the most intensified frequencies of light the earth has ever known…
To honor this blessing on this sacred feast day of the patron saint of all that is unborn, join me in the Rite of the Womb as we gather around a vessel of water filled with flower petals or greens of the earth proclaiming our intention…
the womb is not a place to store fear and pain, the womb is to create and give birth to life… the womb is not a place to store fear and pain, the womb is to create and give birth to life… the womb is not a place to store fear and pain, the womb is to create and give birth to life…
as we light the 13 candles representing the 13 moons of the turn of the sun, we sing the ancient chant…. we all come from the mother and to her we shall return like a drop of rain flowing to the ocean…
raising our arms, we summon the spirits saying: the womb is not a place to store fear and pain, the womb is to create and give birth to life…
placing our hands on the womb space in the center of our bellies, our being, we activate this rite saying: the womb is not a place to store fear and pain, the womb is to create and give birth to life…
blessed be this gift of healing light bringing all that is into greater and greater wholeness and everlasting life…
may we all greet this day of joyous light openheartedly…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 5 – Day 360 – 12/11/2018
“It has been my observation that the happiest of people, the vibrant doers of the world, are almost always those who are using — who are putting into play, calling upon, depending upon the greatest number of their God-given talents and capabilities.”
~John Glenn~
All the Hemisphers — Hafiz
Leave the familiar for a while.
Let your senses and bodies stretch outLike a welcomed season
Onto the meadows and shores and hills.Open up to the Roof.
Make a new water-mark on your excitement
And love.Like a blooming night flower,
Bestow your vital fragrance of happiness
And giving
Upon our intimate assembly.Change rooms in your mind for a day.
All the hemispheres in existence
Lie beside an equator
In your heart.Greet Yourself
In your thousand other forms
As you mount the hidden tide and travel
Back home. All the hemispheres in heaven
Are sitting around a fire
ChattingWhile stitching themselves together
Into the Great Circle inside of
You.namaste’
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 5 – Day 359 – 12/10/2018
seventy years ago today, the United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Eleanor Roosevelt—the principle architect of the declaration—understood and personified the power of wise leadership… she knew that the most effective way to lead is by example—by living our values… when we live up to its ideals, more people can live in freedom, with dignity and agency, and share their gifts with the world… we know that respect for human rights is the foundation of peace, justice, and security…
may the the Universal Declaration of Human Rights continue to be a global beacon – shining a light for dignity, equality & well-being for all…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 5 – Day 358 – 12/9/2018
as the 24 hour bearing witness vigil comes to a close at the crack of dawn this morning, while physically feeling somewhat weary i’m inspired by the upcoming week of taking action as Love Knows No Borders is about to commence reminding me how important it is for all of us to welcome the stranger and offer them warmth… when we start with re-membering the stranger within and befriending our inner refugee who desires what we all desire, a sanctuary to call home, when we open ourselves to the unknown inside of ourselves, we naturally radiate outward this openheartedness to all our relations…. may we all welcome the stranger and offer them warmth…
our earth mother’s heartbeat echoes through all our relations… feel the momentum building as more and more of us hear her call to rise up and stand together as one large orchestra playing a seamless symphony and re-joy-sing in the harmony we embody as a beautiful wave now encircling the cosmos – peace prevails on earth, love is all there is… peace prevails on earth, love is all there is… peace prevails on earth, love is all there is… peace prevails on earth, love is all there is…
may we all welcome the stranger and offer them warmth speaking the words above as one unified voice, as one bridge of reconciliation encircling the cosmos…
join with me now in breathing deeply in to the womb of being while placing a hand on your heart and with each deep breath, feel your heart, our one heart, opening a little wider to welcome the stranger and offer warmth beginning with yourself and slowly moving out in ever widening circles of inclusion re-membering we all belong to each other, each of our individual destinies is tied with our one collective destiny… to journey to the core of our being, to our heart of gold to be our original face of radiant love, dancing with rainbow mystery…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 5 – Day 357 – 12/8/2018
today’s pilgrimage begins at the crack of dawn as i begin a 24 hour bearing witness vigil which feels so right, so synchronous on this 38th anniversary of the death of john…
in his honor, in honor of all our relatives, all twenty-four hours of this day i am imagining… everyone living in the moment… letting it be… looking from our real eyes and real-eye-sing we are one…. all our relations living in peace… all of us dreaming the same dream into reality… sharing the world freely and generously… knowing no one is free, happy, healthy until we all are…
what a legacy! how fully you served in your four short decades on this planet before being cut down so abruptly thirty-eight years ago… thousandfold thanks, dear poet rebel with a cause… thousandfold thanks, cosmic ambassador of peace…
may we all shine on, like the moon and the stars and the sun…
blessed be!
Imagine
Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for todayImagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace, youYou may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope some day you’ll join us
And the world will be as oneImagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world, youYou may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope some day you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 5 – Day 356 – 12/7/2018
living simply
simply living in the tiny space
in the center of the wheel
where all is connected, woven together
seamlessly flowing…
yes, this is quintessentially descending december, this season of the turn of the sun, this rhythmic cosmic cycle where we draw inward into the dream cave to travel in an awakened way re-membering who we truly are, freeing ourselves by widening our circle of compassion and entering te vast spaciousness of our one heart intimate with the unknowable, bearing witness to great mystery, waging a peace passing understanding, gathering together in the depths of the sea, the womb of earthmother of love energy while flying as one through eternity…
Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 5 – Day 355 – 12/6/2018
all the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the flame of a single candle
~ St Francis ~
sag’s cosmic fire, his flaming arrows light up the darkness as we prepare for the advent of light on the soulstice… i spend this day of descending december deep in the dream cave reflecting and listening for the call of the creative fires, source of life, gift of light…
can you hear cupid the archer knocking on your door and inviting you to open your heart as widely as you can to your soul’s purpose for this incarnation? the moment is now to imagine your deepest desire…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 5 – Day 354 – 12/5/2018
still floating in the warm waters of the sea of love energy on this eve of the new moon in adventurous sag, i’m on a transformational path of preservation, of intention… what needs preserving in this new cycle? inner sun gazing transports me to the field out beyond and deep within to gather the quintessence, the essence of essence, love…
tripping along this path, i re-member another dream coming right at this moment a couple of years ago when my golden retriever came bounding wildly through the front door in all his joyous puppy dog energy, yes, riever had come home after being away for 33 years, he had come home to the heart for us to re-member our long swims in the sea and wandering in wonder on the beach and my longing to live as simply as he…
i so love being reunited with my retriever of gold and his gift of a golden key of life – to live simply, to live free, to live in open, spacious reality – has been re-joy-sing me all day long and now i re-member an old shaker song arising from the same open source…
‘Tis the gift to be simple,
’tis the gift to be free,
’tis the gift to come down
where we ought to be,
and when we find ourselves in the place just right,
’twill be in the valley of love and delight.
When true simplicity is gained
to bow and to bend we shan’t be ashamed,
to turn, turn, will be our delight
till by turning, turning we come round right.onto a beautiful gathering of quintessence where we simply be love so free with wonder breathing me and thee…
