Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 336 – 11/17/2015

Named Namaste November 17 peace-in-the-world

today as i breathe peace, as we breathe peace together, may we breathe in Alexis’ Letter of Peace…

Dear friends from around the world,

I am writing to you from Montréal. On Friday, I lost my cousin during the attacks in France. Faced with this terrible news, I cried. Eric was the father of a little girl and his partner is due to give birth in two months. So many things are jostling in my mind.

I breathe in, I breathe out.

Eric, you were (and you are in my heart) a being filled with joy. I will pay homage to you by being joyful and mindful to offer joy to others. Today, I wish to carry that joy into this violence, this nameless suffering. You are an example, and I will follow your lead on this path of joy and openness of spirit.

I breathe in, I breathe out.

I have not given into the anger or the desire for revenge. Because it is anger and revenge that brought on these odious acts. Today, I wish only to hold those dear to me, and those whom I don’t know, in my arms and tell them that I love them. Only love will get us out of this circle of suffering.

I breathe in, I breathe out.

In losing a loved one, I am aware of what people go through daily, whether they are from Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, but also the United States. Every day, people around the world are killed by gunfires. Today, I have the opportunity to join them, their loved ones, and send them my compassion.

I breathe in, I breathe out.

To hatred, to Mara and to all those who fall into it, I see you. You are nothing but an illusion and I will not identify with you. On my path of peace, there are no exceptions. Facing suffering, I observe and I let go. I do not oppose. I do not identify. I also offer love to these men who kill. Even if I completely condemn their actions, I cannot forget that they are a part of our collective suffering. I vow to work on my own personal sufferings, in order to lessen, in my humble way, our collective suffering.

I breathe in, I breathe out.

Today, people are speaking with one another, opening doors that were once shut, and are in solidarity. Even if this wave is only for now, I do want to see this presence, this support, this love for one another. I am sad that this only occurs in moments of despair, but I am happy to tell myself that it is always present. I vow to maintain this spirit of openness within myself and to accompany others to open themselves.

I breathe in, I breathe out.

I breathe in, I breathe out.

I breathe in, I breathe out.

Alexis from Wake Up Montréal

Named Namaste November 16 PEACE Desire

I, too, believe with all my being that millions of us share a genuine desire for PEACE as represented in this picture, a collage of millions of us crying for PEACE, acting for PEACE, being PEACE now… This desire, this belief (be life) ignites my coming alive… Together, may we all come alive and make history/ourstory as we breathe into being a world of PEACE…

Saluting all peace co-hearts in this moment as we move to co-create a cosmos of PEACE…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 334 – 11/15/2015

Named Namaste November 15 Fave Alive

today, i sit contemplating our constant companion, death, in a field of sunflowers, saunterers on the path, and this guest whom we welcome wholeheartedly to inspire our coming more alive in this wild and precious moment fills us and empties us in unimaginable ways as we strip down to bare essence, being hollow vessels for grace to pour through in this moment, this beautiful moment…

namaste, beloved co-hearts on this journey of coming alive and re-membering who we truly are and how to simply be… shanti, shanti, shantihi…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 332 – 11/13/2015

Named Namaste November 13 Water Blessing

today’s dance in the rain is one of great pain offering the gift of deep diving into the dark depths and feeling the way into the cracks, the gaps to listen with the inner ears and to see, to real eyes what is quickening, what is ready to be born from the ashes coming through the breath of life as prayer, as blessing…

breathing infinite gratitude deeply through our one heart,
may we all be safe. may we all be loved. may we all be held. may all be well.
may we feel the support encircling us with a thousand angel wings.
may we rest gracefully in the beauty of this moment…

namaste

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 331 – 11/12/2015

Named Namaste November 12 Dalai Lama Happiness

today the rains come, cold november rain, a day to pull up the covers and hunker down into a well worn comfort zone until i re-member where i live now… in a state where we dance in the rain… i re-member my every breath refrain of thank you, thank you, thank you which moves me from fetal position to curious co-creatrix and i recall a prayer…

Give Us Courage

Give us courage, gaiety and the quiet mind.
Spare us to our friends, soften to us our enemies.
Bless us, if it may be, in all our innocent endeavors.
If it may not, give us the strength to encounter
that which is to come, that we be brave in peril,
constant in tribulation, temperate in wrath,
and in all changes of fortune and down to the gates
of death, loyal and loving to one another.

may we all awaken to the courage, the heart, we are, dancing rain into rainbow…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 329 – 11/10/2015

Named Namaste November 10 Moon New in Scorpio

today is gray, cold and rainy in my neck of the woods, a perfect backdrop for drawing down the energy of the dark moon in scorpio… a perfect setting to venture into the shadowy realms of empty sky and under the cover of security blankets to shed old skins, old stories of life and death, betrayal and abandonment, abuse and neglect, power and control for empowering tales of healing and transformation and with this magical new moon coming on 11/11, it is truly a moon of miracles with everything aligned for optimally planting new seeds in cleared fields ready for new and expansive growth…

contemplate this new moon/dark sky/empty field moment as a blank canvas of limitless possibilities where we cosmically wash away the old allowing spaciousness for vibrant color to rush onto the scene… let the scorpio symbol of death and rebirth, the serpent, journey deeply into the ground of being and reset your energy by shining light on the repressed or blocked or painful streams and transmuting the dammed waters into their natural flowing state of joy…

such a beautiful portal for this new moon, a magical moment when the veils are lifted for us to walk through the gateway and be directly wired into source, a moment to manifest miracles… i trust you will join me in bowing to the present moment, a moment of lovingkindness and compassion… namaste, beloveds…

smiling now, we flow

re-membering all is well

one with nature’s rhythms

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 328 – 11/9/2015

Named Namaste November 9 Smith Rock 11-8-15

as we wend our way home along the route of grace, we are transported to sacred space, high desert earthscape flowing in waves as we travel through Sisters where we follow a rainbow trail, truly, a rainbow trail to Redmond and onto Terrebonne, truly, good earth to breathe in one of the seven wonders of this stunningly beautiful state…

this picture only hints at the beauty and the power of this natural cathedral inspired by volcanic explosions and carved by flowing waters… your breath is taken away while standing on holy ground in the shadow of these towering cliffs…. breathing in the silence of the stone people, i am listening in a deeper way to our ancestors as i bow to their eternal witness and love…

in this moment, this beautiful moment, i have arrived, i am home…  namaste…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 327 – 11/8/2015

Named Namaste November 8 Metolius River 11-7 and 11-8-15 051

this weekend i was treated to a re-treat weekend on the metolius river by and with my beautiful daughter… divinely orchestrated, we traveled down valley on route 22, the number of grace, through clouds pouring forth waterfalls of life until we began ascending the cascades… we traveled as if we were going to a come as you are party with only the clothes on our back and an open attitude of organic presence in the emptiness of now…

we reach the headwaters of the metolius at wizard falls in the early afternoon and it’s amazing to see this river flowing from a hill and to join in the rhythm of the rushing waters lulled by the lapping of the current to coming home to this moment, this beautiful moment…

crossing the threshold of our cabin in the woods on the banks of the metolius and entering our home sweet home, we are met with messages to enjoy this moment and simplify… what a pleasure and joy to swim in this stream in this moment, in every moment, always arriving home…
