Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 306 – 10/18/2022

the miracle is to walk on earth in a sacred way as a free and easy wanderer of wonder breathing in the rhythm of the waves  dwelling deeply in the present moment feeling every wild cell humming with abandon in the inner quiet of the stillpoint…

today i awaken to being a free and easy wanderer, that liberated state of being the pathless path magnetically pulls us to dance…

A MIND THAT HAS NO WALLS, THAT IS NOT BURDENED WITH ITS OWN ACQUISITIONS, ACCUMULATIONS, WITH ITS OWN KNOWLEDGE, A MIND THAT LIVES TIMELESSLY, INSECURELY – TO SUCH A MIND, LIFE IS AN EXTRAORDINARY THING…

traveling widely and deeply through outer space and inner space to a place beyond words… a place of being, homecoming, one with the tides of life… walking a path of devotion… always being love… always being thanksgiving… always becoming more love… always becoming more thanksgiving… always dwelling more deeply and expansively in infinite love and gratitude especially in the perilous moments of eternity…

every inbreath a re-membering we are spirit beings on a journey into great mystery, into the great beyond, calling us to look within and see true reality – we are one vast interbeing with each cell belonging to each other, interbeing with each other, interdepending on each other…

may we all be birds in flight soaring in wide open spaciousness flowing like the mighty river below the river as a dynamic current of  restorative joy trusting in the tides of life to carry us into the ocean of being, the vast sky sea free to be wanderers of wonder in ble star mystery…

blessed bee…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 305 – 10/17/2022

in this moment of eternity on the second of 13 days marking the 60th anniversary of the 1962 missile crisis with the sun shining on the hexagram of veneration, i re-member and venerate this being born eight years and a day before my birth… being cancerian crabs, we also share a love of water; today calls me into the field of shining water crystals to honor his life on the anniversary of his death and seeing that date brings up an image of the occupy movement of  eleven years ago begun on 9/17 and inspiring my occupying the abundance of infinite love and gratitude, now known as dwelling in the abundance of infinite love and gratitude…

so many synchronicities, so many interconnections as i gaze on this water crystal called love and thanks and let Dr Emoto’s words on gratitude perfume our shared field of consciousness… oh, to be the embodiment of gratitude – a shining pure water crystal of light…

let us all aspire to being embodiments of gratitude re-membering the practice of gratitude is one of the most transformative acts we can engage in every moment of eternity miraculously transfiguring us into shining crystals of astonishing light…

thank you, thank you, thank you, Masaru, for opening us to water’s hidden messages one of which is on peace and how our holding the intention of peace, so sorely needed today, holding that intention towards water brings peace to the bodies of water we are and our world is…

blessed bee…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 304 – 10/16/2022

“There’s a revolution that needs to happen and it starts from inside each one of us.”

~ Thich Nhat Hanh ~

i write today of the necessary revolution called for in this moment of eternity of celebrating the astonishing light of being and on this first day of the 13 days of the 60th anniversary of the cuban missile crisis in this sacred moment of great turning and cosmic rite of passage… the revolution i write of today is one of consciousness, a bold adventure the cosmos invites us to explore as foretold in other moments of eternity by the grandmothers…

there came a time when the grandmothers noticed it was the moment to focus on the good of the village and to remind the earthlings of how to be… they called in the spirits of the ancestors and the teachers and the unborn generations and the spirit of fire to kindle a flame which they nurtured and tendered and placed in the center of the wisdom council where the villagers sit in circle…

the grandmothers called on all the relatives to take a pledge repeating these words: in every action, in every thought, in every decision, i promise to hold the good of the children of all beings in this generation and for seven generations hence and this is my sacred vow…

may all of us tend the inner flame supported by the communitas of the invisible realms holding in our one heart and living out this sacred calling to always put first the good of the whole, to do what is best for the children…

and then, peace prevails on earth… blessed bee…

to anchor in this vow at this precarious moment of eternity, i invite us to close our outer eyes and tune in with our inner vision to the eternal flame within as we follow our breath noticing how our breath is in rhythm with the waves of life, with the tides’ ebb and flow, the waning and waxing of the moon, the changing of seasons all inextricably interconnected with the rhythms of mama gaia’s breath… breathing in and breathing out… love… light… as we continue to breathe in from Pachamama, notice if there is any tension in your body and if so, shake it off and get all loosey goosey… breathing in deep relaxation into the body, breathing out an ecstatic ahh… breathing in, I smile… breathing out, i start my internal love engine…

now, i invite our going deep inside to connect with where we carry our soul light… do you feel it in your heart? crown? 3rd eye? throat? soular plexus? belly? root? Take your time… it may look like a beautiful candle flame, a burning ember, a flashlight, a lantern, a whirling vortex of pure white light… however your soul light appears and feels, rest assured it is always shining brightly…

now, the invitation is to look very closely at your light and see silver threads emanating from your soul light… we are going to follow these threads finding any and all fractures and splinters to heal, to whole, to bless and bring home… look for the threads and follow them back and back and back through all dimensions… you may find 2 or 3 or several hundred, simply follow them looking at each one closely, healing it, blessing it and bringing it home one after the other and notice with each fragment returning home into the circle of unconditional love how your soul light is brightened a thousand fold with every fragment that returns home… the healing happens so quickly with each thread so happy to be re-woven into the gr8 tapestry of soul light that is more and more luminous with every re-union… take this moment and luxuriate in the warm embrace of the astonishing light of our being,,, re-member, we can return here any time – we are the eternal radiance, we are the luminous shining ones weve been waiting for… and with every return to this sacred space, we weave a cosmos of peace founded on justice and guided by love for all children of the earth, for all our relatives…

aho…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 303 – 10/15/2022

there seems to be something so potent in the rhythm of the autumnal web of life, in the open field of October on the ides, mid-month… each turn around the sun at this moment, i feel the collective dark night so intensely and its spilling into the personal realm… this turn around the sun seems even more potent as it is also the eve of the 60th anniversary of the 13 days of the Cuban missile crisis in 1962 and once again we teeter on this precarious edge… as we continue to experience the outer dark night collectively at the close of this era with the global dark night casting a shadow across the cosmos, i hear so many voicing the experience of this dark night as we lay fallow awaiting germination deep down in the earth of being; i, too, have been experiencing a mini dark night, profound loss in a brief moment until i re-member when we listen deeply we can hear the even more beautiful world breathing cataly-sing our acting like a squirrel by gathering the quintessence and calling in Porcupine Goddess to share an ancient wisdom story illuminating the place i and we find ourselves…

long ago, in the coldest winter ever, many of our relations were dying… we of the porcupine council met and decided we’d nestle together to keep warm and stay alive… alas, we were warm but the quills of our neighbors were wounding us, so we decided to separate from each other to relieve the hurts of living in close quarters… although now we were protected from being wounded, we began to die one by one, alone and frozen cold… faced with our extinction or living as wounded porcupines, we chose wisely – deciding to return to being together… we learned to live with wounds caused by being in close relationship to receive the greater benefit of the warmth that comes from others. this way, we were able to not only survive but also to thrive; to flourish in regenerative cycles organically arising from the harmony sung by the implicate order…

may we be as wise as our porcupine relations real-eye-sing, re-membering interdependence, the way of the  openheart, is the way…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 302 – 10/14/2022

well come to another day of celebrating, imagining, being a cosmos of peace and harmony in this sacred moment of eternity, another wild and precious moment to acknowledge the astonishing light of our interbeing, a light shining so brightly in the core of our being, a light that has been shining since the beginning of beginningless time, a light calling us to listen, listen, listen to the soulsong singing our one body to come home to the heart, to the present moment, the only moment… this moment is the moment of eternity where a new and more expanded picture of reality emerges with revelations to weave and dots to connect on the the spirit path, the beautyway we all are walking each other home…

so many shoulders, roots, mycelial networks supporting us, such a boundless circle, a communion, a common union, our one body perfectly created for these times… what follows is one of the thousand thousand fold expressions of this living truth, the cosmic wisdom of the astonishing light of our interbeing that i have shared before and this moment of initiation, of separation, ordeal and return, calls out for this healing balm:

~

We Are the Ones We’ve Been Waiting For

“You have been telling people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour. And there are things to be considered…

Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?

Know your garden.
It is time to speak your truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for your leader.

Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said, “This could be a good time! There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water.

And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey come to a halt.

The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word ’struggle’ from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”

~ Hopi Elders’ Prophecy, June 8, 2000 ~

~

let us rise and descend simultaneously into the call for life, liberty and justice for all in our every thought, word and deed with every breath and step… and so it is… blessed being the astonishing light we are…

let’s close this sacred space of ceremony with a blessing into the sacred fire within, the inner light of great spirit residing in all our relatives…

may this day be blessed with gifts, lessons, understanding and friends… may our energy be a gift to all we meet… let us be centered, healing and open facing the day with courage, kindness, insight and compassion… may we honor this day…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 301 – 10/13/2022

for many nights, i go so deeply into dreamtime and travel the pathless path into unknown landscapes populated with such lucid images be-wilder-ing to me and when i awaken in liminal space to contemplate, i hear jung whispering to pull back the projections into myself which takes me to a favorite quotation from beloved rilke:

“The work of the eyes is done. Go now and do the heart-work on the images imprisoned within you.”

on this day when the spirits are right at hand, i continue contemplating these last few days of re-membering and releasing the work of outer vision during this profound portal of collective death and rebirth and with Rilke’s words still singing me, i hear the old story of there’s a spirit in everything… and this musing takes me right to Michelangelo:

“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.

Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.”

aren’all these expressions excellent sacred instructions on how to align with great spirit, rainbow mystery, the one heart, creative process, the soulful self, authenticity?…

yes, listen, listen, listen ever more deeply to our heartsong… release the spirit of the wise pilgrim navigating the journey, the genie always within every bottle/body… and then, may we all proclaim, free at last, free at last, free at last to be the fullest expression of whom we are destined to be…

let’s close this sacred space of ceremony with a beautyway blessing into the sacred fire within, the inner light of great spirit residing in all our relatives:

may this day be blessed with gifts, lessons, understanding and friends… may our energy be a gift to all we meet… let us be centered, healing and open facing the day with courage, kindness, insight and compassion… may we honor this day with the astonishing light of the boundless love of our interbeing…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 300 – 10/12/2022

today’s a perfect day to sync into the rhythm of the newborn/wise old sage of wonder and wisdom to mirror peace and all is well energy so needed by our nervous systems in this moment of eternity…

this reverie sparks re-membering Joanna Macy’s recounting of the twelve centuries old Tibetan Buddhist prophecy as told to her by her teacher of the mystical land of peace and harmony known as shambala which rises when the world is in danger of annihilating itself through greed and corruption – sound familiar?…

“There comes a time when all life on Earth is in danger. Barbarian powers have arisen. Although they waste their wealth in preparations to annihilate each other, they have much in common: weapons of unfathomable devastation and technologies that lay waste the world. It is now, when the future of all beings hangs by the frailest of threads, that the kingdom of Shambhala emerges.

Now you can’t go there because it is not a place. It exists in the hearts and minds of the Shambhala Warriors. And you can’t tell a Shambhala Warrior by looking at her and him. The time is coming said Rinpoche when great courage is required of the Shambhala warriors, moral courage and physical courage and that’s because they are going to go right into the heart of the barbarian powers to dismantle their weapons.”

ah, yes, today is perfect for bathing, purifying in the waterfalls of compassion and gathering the quintessence to adventure right into the heart of dominance consciousness to de-colonize crumbling structures and co-create an interbeing consciousness of  true peace, a story to share with all children of the earth of why we come here… to be siddhizens of shambala – wise, courageous, compassionate peacemakers/ healers using the sacred tools to first de-colonize and purify our consciousness and then role model that in every moment for all to feel and see… blessed bee!

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 299 – 10/11/2022

“I think that the Buddha is already here. If you are mindful enough you can see the Buddha in anything, especially in the sangha. The twentieth century was the century of individualism, but we don’t want that anymore. Now we try to live as a community. We want to flow like a river, not a drop of water. The river will surely arrive at the ocean, but a drop of water may evaporate halfway. That’s why it is possible for us to recognize that the presence of the Buddha is the here and now. I think that every step, every breath, every word that is spoken or done in mindfulness—that is the manifestation of the Buddha. Don’t look for the Buddha elsewhere. It is in the art of living mindfully every moment of your life.”

~ Thich Nhat Hanh ~

on this day 96 years ago, a being destined to be an exemplar of peace was born and so in this moment of eternity thousand fold thanks for a lifetime of teaching us and showing us the way, of being peace, of walking our talk and being an example for others, for introducing us to the miracle of mindfulness, for always being love and being present in the present moment, wonderful moment… may we all mindfully breathe with you in every precious moment… may we re-member we have arrived and are home in beloved community… let’s anchor this beautiful moment  of celebrating Thay and the astonishing light of interbeing with some of my favorite of Thay’s words from The Heart of Understanding: Commentaries on the Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra:

“If you are a poet, you will see clearly that there is a cloud floating in this sheet of paper. Without a cloud, there will be no rain; without rain, the trees cannot grow; and without trees, we cannot make paper. The cloud is essential for the paper to exist. If the cloud is not here, the sheet of paper cannot be here either. So we can say that the cloud and the paper inter-are. “Interbeing” is a word that is not in the dictionary yet, but if we combine the prefix “inter-” with the verb “to be,” we have a new verb, inter-be…

If we look into this sheet of paper even more deeply, we can see the sunshine in it. If the sunshine is not there, the forest cannot grow. In fact, nothing can grow. Even we cannot grow without sunshine. And so, we know that the sunshine is also in this sheet of paper. The paper and the sunshine inter-are. And if we continue to look, we can see the logger who cut the tree and brought it to the mill to be transformed into paper. And we see the wheat. We know the logger cannot exist without his daily bread, and therefore the wheat that became his bread is also in this sheet of paper. And the logger’s father and mother are in it too. When we look in this way, we see that without all of these things, this sheet of paper cannot exist.

Looking even more deeply, we can see we are in it too. This is not difficult to see, because when we look at a sheet of paper, the sheet of paper is part of our perception. Your mind is in here and mine is also. So we can say that everything is in here with this sheet of paper. You cannot point out one thing that is not here-time, space, the earth, the rain, the minerals in the soil, the sunshine, the cloud, the river, the heat. Everything co-exists with this sheet of paper. That is why I think the word inter-be should be in the dictionary. “To be” is to inter-be. You cannot just be by yourself alone. You have to inter-be with every other thing. This sheet of paper is, because everything else is.

Suppose we try to return one of the elements to its source. Suppose we return the sunshine to the sun. Do you think that this sheet of paper will be possible? No, without sunshine nothing can be. And if we return the logger to his mother, then we have no sheet of paper either. The fact is that this sheet of paper is made up only of “non-paper elements.” And if we return these non-paper elements to their sources, then there can be no paper at all. Without “non-paper elements,” like mind, logger, sunshine and so on, there will be no paper. As thin as this sheet of paper is, it contains everything in the universe in it.”

may we all re-member the truth of our interbeing and thousand fold thanks for continuing to walk Thay’s talk by being an astonishing light of our one cosmic heart…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 298 – 10/10/2022

as Changing Woman dons her seasonal robes shifting the colors of the landscape, do you feel the shifting of both inner and outer earth plates moving us from living a domination colonization consciousness to celebrating an embodied, relational, holistic, sacred way of being in harmony with the web of life on this day of honoring the indigenous?

where we… respect natural laws, live in reciprocity with our earth mother, live within capacity, respect the sacredness of all our relations, of nature as a sanctuary that fills our every need, listen to the voice of the first peoples on this indigenous peoples day whose ear to the past and eye to the future grounds them in the present moment as a fractal of every moment…

this ecological tipping moment where their call to action to stand for our water and air and trees is ever so timely and so critical… no more polluting water, cutting down trees, digging out oil for oil is earth mother’s blood and if we dig it, creation will die…

listen now to this letter to the people written by Chief Seattle:

“The President in Washington sends word that he wishes to buy our land. But how can you buy or sell the sky, the land? The idea is strange to us. If we do not own the freshness of the air or the spark of the water, then how can you buy them? Every part of this Earth is sacred to my people; every shining pine needle, every sandy shore, every mist in the dark woods, every meadow, every humming insect. All are holy in the memory and experience of my people. We know the sap that courses through the trees as we know the blood that courses through our veins. We are a part of the Earth, and it is part of us. The perfumed flowers are our relations. The bear, the deer, the great eagle: these are our relations. The rocky crests, the juices in the meadow, the body heat of the pony, and the human all belong to the same family.

The shining water that moves from the streams and rivers is not just water but the blood of our ancestors. If we sell you our land, you must remember that it is sacred. Each ghostly reflection in the lakes tells of memories in the life of my people. The water’s murmur is the voice of my ancestors. The rivers are our relations. They quench our thirst. They carry our canoes and feed our children. So, you must give to the rivers the kindness you would give to anyone.

If we sell you our land remember that the air is precious to us, that the air shares its spirit with all of the life it supports. The wind that gave our elders their first breaths also receives their last sigh. The wind also gives our children the spirit of life. So, if we sell you our land, you must keep it apart and sacred as a place where people can go and taste the wind that is sweetened by the meadow flowers.

Will you teach your children what we have taught our children: that the Earth is our mother? What befalls the Earth, befalls all the children of the Earth. This we know: the Earth does not belong to humankind; we belong to the Earth. All things are connected like the blood that unites us all. Humans did not weave the web of life; we are merely a strand of it. Whatever we do to the Earth, we do to ourselves. One thing we know: our God is also your God. The Earth is precious to our Creator, and to harm the Earth is to heap contempt on its creator.

Your destiny is a mystery to us. What will happen when the buffalo are all slaughtered? The wild horses tamed? What will happen when the secret corners of the forest are heavy with the scent of people and the view of the ripe hills is blotted by talking wires? Where will the thicket be? Gone. Where will the eagle be? Gone. The end of living and the beginning of survival!

When the last red people have vanished and our memory is but the shadow of a cloud moving across the prairie, will these shores and forests still be here? Will there be any of the spirit of my people left?

We love this Earth as a newborn loves its mother’s heartbeat. So, if we sell you our land, love it as we have loved it. Care for it as we have cared for it. Hold in your memory the land as it is when you receive it. Preserve the land for all children and love it as God loves us all. As we are part of the land, you too are a part of the land. As the Earth is precious to us, so is it precious to you.

One thing we know: there is only one God. No people, be they red or white, can be apart. We are siblings after all.”

as we all share the blood of the first mother and so are children of one blood, let us come together in solidarity with the wisdom and ways of an embodied, wholistic consciousness of living in harmony simultaneously referencing past and future informing our actions in the here and the now to live well with deep reverence and close to the ground in sacred relationship with our mothership… deep bows and thousand fold thanks to the indigenous people who hold the dream of the earth so sacredly… an important reparation to the indigenous which would be perfect for the honoring is to end the tar sands pipeline and free Leonard Peltier today…

Poetic Peace Pilgrimage – Year 9 – Day 297 – 10/9/2022

Happy 82nd Day of Continuation, John!

on the day we honor the birth of John Lennon, we also honor the day of miracles, the  birth of Guru Ram Das and so many more… and, on this turn around the sun, it is also the moment of eternity of celebrating the astonishing light of our interbeing and the full moon of magic, of fire calling forth our igniting and uniting in a collective vision of peace on earth… today’s walk on the wild side is resting in an open strawberry field out beyond, a breathing space, a visionary place to commit acts of imagination on this ground of shifting sands, dreamscape of unknowing where we dream our collective dream forward of living in the moment in peace sharing our world as one…

naturally arising from our communal wellspring, the river below the river. is this image as in imagine, imagination of our imagining peace, a world living as one in this moment where there are no countries, no borders, no strangers, no wars, no religions, no possessions, no greed, no hunger, no homelessness… imagine all our relations living this moment in peace, sharing our astonishing light of being with every breath…

as we all come together in this moment to commit acts of imagination, may we live the PPP’s call to intend peace for a moment each and every day at 4:44 wherever you are in the world creating a continuous cosmic peace wave and John’s, ever so relevant for today, call to action expressed in the words of his song echoing the Hopi prophecy that we are the ones we have been awaiting…

Power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people, right on

Say you want a revolution
We better get on right away
Well you get on your feet
And out on the street

Singing power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people, right on

A million workers working for nothing
You better give ’em what they really own
We got to put you down
When we come into town

Singing power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people, right on

I gotta ask you comrades and brothers
How do you treat you own woman back home
She got to be herself
So she can free herself

Singing power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people, right on
Now, now, now, now
Oh well, power to the people

Power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people, right on

Yeah, power to the people Power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people, right on

Power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people
Power to the people, right on

yes, this moment, every moment, let us all commit to waging peace within with every inbreath and peace without with every outbreath… and so it is eternally… blessed bee…
