Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 208 – 7/12/2015

Named Joyful July 12 Rumi Dancing+honoring the call to come home to the silence of our one heart, i am re-treating in a dark cave where a peaceful stream flows… it is as if i’m in a float tank sans outer sensory stimulation… i re-member more than four decades ago experiencing a great awakening after realizing original sin is separation and almost immediately seeing a clear vision of reality as oneness…

i begin a lucid cycling journey following behind the divine child and her father on my bicycle. i carry my singing bowl in one of my arms and i come to a space where i must stop… here, i begin a wondrous journey exploring open heart u, a dream i’ve been incubating many moons… how much fun to wander these grounds. to meet people who are drawn to beloved community, to connect with so many dog star offspring here to guide in the opening of inner vision, to truly be seeing eye dogs…

the grace of this day is amazing and i breathe it in again and again with the ever present chant of thank you, thank you, thank you…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 207 – 7/11/2015

Named Joyful July 11 flowmy dancing shoes are on and the shero journey calls… although i’m traveling only a couple of blocks, i’m making a quantum leap to live at graceland in the village of stillness in a space of essence and a state of love in a world of flow… ready, set, breathe deeply through our one heart… the rainbow trail opens magically leading us into great mystery and we dance, dance wherver we may be…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 205 – 7/9/2015

Named Joyful July 9 Rumi Silent Heart

Inner silence works from the moment you begin to accrue it. What the old sorcerers were after was the final dramatic, end result of reaching that individual threshold of silence. Some very talented practitioners need only a few minutes of silence to reach that coveted goal. Others, less talented, need long periods of silence, perhaps more than one hour of quietude, before they reach the desired result. The desired result is what the old sorcerers called “stopping the world”, the moment when everything around us ceases to be what it’s always been. This is the moment when sorcerers return to the TRUE nature of man. The old sorcerers always called it “total freedom”
Don Juan (Carlos Castanada)

in this moon of being stopped still in my tracks, of dwelling in an upended world, i see, hear, feel, be and live more and more in graceland, in the sacred space beyond words, in the joyous radiance of the silent heart of overflowing compassion.

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 2 – Day 204 – 7/8/2015

Named Joyful July 8 Blessing of Happy Vibrations++Yes! It’s a selfie after passing the month milestone of saving my eye; I’m now cleared to take showers and am unchained from proximity to the hospital… There is nothing like cool water on another hot day to lift the spirits higher, even on this day of a different kind of grace, a day when things i thought would go smoothly ran more roughly calling for even more slowing down and more patient presence…

thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you…

In his own words…

Every day, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others; to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can.

~

May we all breathe his Blessing of Peace deeply through our one heart.

His parting words leaving Portland:

“I’m always mentioning that mentally, emotionally and physically we are the same human being. So the potential which I have and that I use – you also have that same potential. You must realize that potential and utilize that potential as much as you can. Then you will be a happy person and live a meaningful life.”

Named Joyous July 3 Japanese Garden New Year's 2015 001this prayer is in answer to Lao Tzu’s quest i’m on about cultivating patience, to stay still in the muddy waters, to rest deeply in the ebb tide, the germination cycle for the waters to clear, the sprouts to rise, the wings to unfold… may we all befriend the pregnant pause dreaming in the rhythm of the waves and re-membering it takes chaos to birth dancing stars…
