every breath, every moment is a chance to be and make peace with the world; we are so supported in this moment of eternity, in every moment of eternity of celebrating the astonishing light of being inspiring us to be starfire, soul destiny, instruments of peace, love and joy…
half a century plus ago, 52 years to be exact, i, along with a half a million other people journeyed to Washington (DC) for the largest peace march ever… yes, squint your eyes and you can see me in the middle of the crowd standing around the reflection pool… standing joyfully in love for love, calling for peace…
fast forward to this moment, where i stand with you and thousands of our relatives holding hands across the planet, across the invisible cosmic realms in love for love and peace, deep peace of the running wave we are forever…
“I offer you peace. I offer you love. I offer you friendship. I see your beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings. My wisdom flows from the highest Source. I salute that Source in you. Let us work together. For unity and peace.”
~ Mahatma Gandhi ~
yes, let us breathe peace unceasingly, beloveds of the beloved… shanti, shanti, shantihi…
may we be at peace
may our one heart remain open
may weall realize the beauty of our true nature
may we all know the astonishing light of our being
may we all be whole and a source of healing for all our relations
for this moment of eternity’s celebration of, I wish I could show you, when you are lonely or in darkness, the astonishing light of your own being, here is a perfect image reflecting your radiance, the inner light that can never be extinguished, the eternal flame, spirit always burning brightly, drink it in and be the only you that you can be and in so being, you gift and serve the whole…
may we all awaken to the astonishing light of being exactly who we were created to be letting go of everything to be everything…
“The first step toward living a happy life is to treat every other human with kindness. There are several steps after that, but I can’t remember right now.”
~ Dalai Lama ~
today is known as World Kindness Day, like you, i see every day as world kindness day and love chanting/being lovingkindness every moment…
there are a thousand thousand fold ways to celebrate world kindness, in this moment of eternity let’s reflect upon the kichwa and their philosophy and practice of buen vivir, the good life…
with pachamama, earth mother, at the heart of everything, buen vivir is about respecting the rights and responsibilities of communities to protect and promote their own social and environmental well-being by living grassroots change…
never before in modern society have we had to redesign our lives with such speed and magnitude: how we live, how we connect with one another, and what and how we consume – this is where kindness, living a happy life and buen vivir come in…
representing a combination of respect and reciprocity, community, solidarity and harmony, buen vivir originates in the indigenous philosophy of sumak kawsay and is supported by three main pillars: first is social, evoking equity, solidarity, and rights; second is material, emphasizing the human capacity for work, health, and education, as opposed to the accumulation of wealth; third is spiritual, referring to the idea of transcendence through nature…
buen vivir offers an opportunity to live KINdness, to nurture our relationships with family, friends, our communities, and the natural world through a communal and nature-oriented consciousness… practically, it helps us evaluate what really matters through daily actions and choices that consider the impacts on all our relations…
may we live lovingkindness throughout the sacred hoop…
how i love this quest ion and how often i find myself living it… this koan so perfect for so many of the last moments of eternity and for these times we are in with right action such a pertinent query as dramatic tectonic change floods our inner and outer island home… an ancient question, always relevant, it seems to comes with being human…
speaking of ancient questions and koans, here is one suitable for now…
A student asked, “When times of great difficulty visit us, how should we meet them?”
The teacher said, “Welcome.”
so many moments of late coming to a deep space of silence, so many moments of waiting for the transcendent function to kick in, for the right action, the movement of aligning with true self, source, great mystery to arise, so many moments of listening to the sage words of welcoming the moment rather than seeing it as an obstacle, an obstruction, so many moments of surrendering how i envisioned life would flow to go with the true flow…
as we gather together in the boat to cross to the other shore, may we all rest in equanimity keeping the boat steady as we patiently live the question from an openhearted space until the water clears…
Deep peace of the running wave to you. Deep peace of the flowing air to you. Deep peace of the quiet earth to you. Deep peace of the shining stars to you. Deep peace of the gentle night to you. Moon and stars pour their healing light on you…
“Empty yourself of everything. Let the mind rest at peace. The ten thousand things rise and fall while the Self watches their return. They grow and flourish and then return to the Source. Returning to the Source is stillness, which is the way of Nature. The way of Nature is unchanging.” ~Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching
on this potent 11/11 portal, i journey deep, deep into the ocean of being to rest in the moment in the lap of the grandmother, a day of pause, a day of wu wei with nowhere to go and nothing to do but abide and take refuge in the present moment relaxing peacefully in every cell of our one interbeing…
looking into the wide screen of the cosmos, there is so much to mourn today and so much to celebrate on this special portal, this day of potent manifestation, this 103rd anniversary of Armistice Day, a celebration of peace on earth following the end of the war that was to end all wars and that manifested the Kellogg-Briand Pact 10 years later, a treaty banning all war, this moment of celebrating the astonishing light of our being with an image of Peace Pilgrim, the ama-sing being inspiring this pilgrimage, this daily moment by moment practice of being peace, being deep peace in the ground of interbeing no matter what is going on in the outer world knowing we can always come home to our core of peace with every breath…
please join with me on calling in, invoking peace on this day of accelerated manifestation of magic, a change in consciousness…
Peace to all beings Whether near or far Known or unknown Real or imaginary Visible or invisible Born or yet to be born. May all beings Be well and happy And free from fear. Peace to all beings Within and beyond the imagination In the world of ideas In the world of memories And in the world of dreams. May all beings Be well and happy And free from fear. Peace in all elements Of earth, air, fire and water Fulfilled in space Peace. Peace in all universes From the smallest cells in our bodies To the greatest galaxies in space Peace And light rising Peace to all beings Within each being here To those beings that have been in the past And to those beings that are yet to be in the future May all beings Within each being here Be well and happy And free from fear.
in every moment of eternity, may we tune into a greater wisdom of the peace passing all understanding and manifest a cosmos of peace built on justice guided by love…
on the eve of 11-11 at 11:11, i begin calling in armistice… exactly at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, 103 years ago, people across Europe suddenly stopped shooting guns at each other… up until that moment, they were killing and taking bullets, falling and screaming, moaning and dying… then they stopped, on schedule… the armistice agreement that ended World War I had set 11 o’clock as quitting time… Armistice Day was created to celebrate the ending of World War I and to work for the ending of all war…
the next year, King George asked for two minutes of silence for all people to reflect on and re-member the cost of war and the benefits of a lasting peace… in this moment, let us observe two minutes of silence while we contemplate the words of an American President, Abraham Lincoln almost a half a century earlier when the United States was dangerously divided…
“I have been driven many times upon my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had no where else to go. My own wisdom and that of all about me seemed insufficient for that day.”
in every moment, may we all tune into a greater wisdom… the peace passing all understanding…
“The weary world is waiting for Peace forevermore So take away the gun From every mother’s son And put an end to war.”
~ Al Jolson ~
join with me on the 11th at 11 to chime bells 11 times commemorating the 103rd anniversary of WWI’s end following that with a wave of three minutes of silence dedicated to all who died and to all who lived… and then, may we rise up singing and dancing peace prevailing on earth…
and, on that note, i re-member it was 5 years ago Leonard Cohen moved on to another plane; with his death and as a celebration of his life, here is my favorite rendition of his praise song, hallelujah… godspeed, jikan… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYiMJ2bC65A
you have no cause for anything but gratitude and joy…

today, i celebrate my maternal grandmother’s 133rd birthday entering the dreamtime portal that we northern hemispherians are descending into while our southern hemisphere relatives arise into the light, i re-member a couple of years ago her birthday coincided in such lovely synchrony with the Tibetan Buddhist celebration of the holy day of Lhabab Duchen, a festival of re-joy-sing in all acts of kindness for on this day Buddha descended from heaven to liberate his Mother and repay her many acts of kindness… it seems oh so fitting on this sacred day in this moment of eternity to ask the questions of what needs transforming and alchemizing on this day of celebrating grandmother ancestors by scattering the good in their honor…
will you join me this moment of eternity of my grandmother (who was a scattergood and a joy-ner) reverie in the caravan of re-joy-sing circling ’round the cauldron where we brew the elixir of transformation, rebirth and inspiration, drink it in and take sacred action by performing acts of compassion joyously and scattering the good all of these acts of kindness and goodness we bestow and all the acts that have been bestowed upon us by the ancestors?
re-member, throwing kindness around like confetti and scattering the good to the four winds is something we always need, especially the unkind who need it the most…
yes, let us breathe in deeply through the stone people, our ancestors, right down through the deep heart of the earth coming home ready to choose love over power, compassion over fear and construction over destruction centered in our one true self, the self organizing intelligence of the ever expanding cosmos dwelling down deep in the core of all our relatives in the river below the river, the river of joy bubbling below the river of suffering always at the ready to break through revealing who we truly are – instruments of joy, love and peace…
throughout each day, i’m ingesting each moment of eternity to come to this point at the end of the day to crystal-eyes the unfolding mystery… last night, i’d thought i’d be writing about the chaos and confusion of these be-wildering great turnings but when i went to write, my website wasn’t working and i did what i could to remedy the situation to no avail and then called the hosting company which turned out to set me back profoundly and then i came back to give it one more try – eureka! so, after all that, i really needed to tune into the unitive field where we interare as one connected interbeing and when i come here now and chant this tibetan prayer i love so, i see how it is such a prayer of interbeing, of coming from the place of the one cosmic heart we are and i real-eyes that on this day seven years ago i traveled on the peace train with a partner in peace into the belly of this land to celebrate my completion of the sungazing cycle of 44 minutes in a park built many years ago by conscientious objectors interned here during a war… it seems this peace found just the right moment…
let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me and thee…
living in these times of crisis, these times of danger and opportunity, we are called us to summon the courage to take on the response ability of being peace, of exploring the hard places in our heart and softening, of being water washing over the rigid and melting it into healing flow…
for so many moons, like you, i re-member we are the ones we’ve been waiting for and have been calling in wise leadership being catalyzed within our collective soul with a song of justice and true power quoted below…
Psalm 15
Lord, who can be trusted with power, and who may act in your place? Those with a passion for justice, who speak the truth from their hearts; who have let go of selfish interests and grown beyond their own lives; who see the wretched as their family and the poor as their flesh and blood. They alone are impartial and worthy of the people’s trust. Their compassion lights up the whole earth, and their kindness endures forever.
(The Psalms, translations by Stephen Mitchell)
will you join me in this moment, in every moment in a smile (start my internal love engine) of peace and breathe in deeply the boundless love all around us… informing us every moment is a teacher with a healing gift of grace for love is the most powerful medicine, the most powerful energy of all…we can and must generously share this eternally renewable energy source with everyone and everything…
may we be bridge-builders, repairers of the breach, menders of brokenness, tenders of beauty in wounded places… in order to be whole, to be peace, we must accept every cell of our one body of interbeing as the beloved, yes each of the trillions and trillions of threads of the web of life; this is our calling and thankfully we are so re-sourced to interbe this great work…
in this field of love may we walk all day long may we walk through the turnings may we walk on the trail of pollen may we walk with love in our one heart may we walk with love before us may we walk with love behind us may we walk with love above us may we walk with love all around us may we walk wandering on a trail of love, may we walk beginning in love deepening in love
always being love

Clean-sing and Purifying the Inner Temple
see in the center of our being, a large fireball radiating like a sun…
into the center of the fireball, we place anything on the physical plane that is needing to be transformed, that no longer serves… as it goes into the center of the fireball, it is transformed, and the energy of life is released like the rays of the sun…
see this fireball turn into a blazing yellow sun… place into the center of the sun any emotions, desires, energies, ways of running energy that no longer serve… these energies are transformed into radiant rainbow spokes of pure energy…
now the sun turns into a deep indigo blue and we place into the center of the indigo sun any separative thoughtforms, ideas, concepts… as they enter into the sun, these thoughtforms are transformed into radiant spokes of pure energy and are being released into the temple of being in all the colors of the rainbow…
see the soul itself appear in the center of the temple of being… all of the love and the light that’s been released, we offer to the soul’s plan and purpose… this energy rises merging with the group soul quantum field infusing the greater plan…
from our soul quantum field, see and feel an energy of golden light come down through us all descending into our crown center all the way through all our vehicles clean-sing and purifying us for the engoldenment cycle to come when we real-eyes the astonishing luminosity of our interbeing… a la la ho!

“We need to be angels for each other, to give each other strength and consolation. Because only when we fully realize that the cup of life is not only a cup of sorrow but also a cup of joy will we be able to drink it.”
“We pray to the great Spiritual Power in which we live and move and have our being. We pray that we may at all times keep our minds open to new ideas and shun dogma; that we may grow in our understanding of the nature of all living beings and our connectedness with the natural world; that we may become ever more filled with generosity of spirit and true compassion and love for all life; that we may strive to heal the hurts that we have inflicted on nature and control our greed for material things, knowing that our actions are harming our natural world and the future of our children; that we may value each and every human being for who he is, for who she is, reaching to the spirit that is within, knowing the power of each individual to change the world.”
