It’s a selfie after passing the month milestone of saving my eye; I’m now cleared to take showers and am unchained from proximity to the hospital… There is nothing like cool water on another hot day to lift the spirits higher, even on this day of a different kind of grace, a day when things i thought would go smoothly ran more roughly calling for even more slowing down and more patient presence…
