i savor this day of rain falling gently and warming myself around the inner campfire connected etherically with all that is through the field of akasha as i begin a week of celebrating the fiftieth (golden) anniversary of earth day…
i was born (physically) on the 23rd day of one of our thirteen moons and soulfully on the 22nd of april which would become earth day… as a young child, i decided the 23rd psalm was mine, so here’s a song adapted from the 23rd for the 22nd…
the earth is our mother
we shall not want
her hand brings forth the green pastures
she tarries within the still waters
she leads us into flowering fields of fruitfulness
yea, as we walk through the summer of life unto death
we are not afraid, for you are with us
your womb in the earth enfolds us
you prepare a harvest before us and bless our homes
you fill us with milk and honey.
our cup overflows
surely, goodness and beauty nurture us all the days of life
and we are holy vessels of the earth forever…
vaya con gaia en paz, amor y alegria…
blessed bee…
