Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 96 – 3/21/2020

Piglet’s Song

Let’s find a Way today,
that can take us to tomorrow.
We’ll follow that Way,
A Way like flowing water.

Let’s leave behind,
the things that do not matter.
And we’ll turn our lives,
to a more important chapter.

Let’s take the time and try to find,
what real life has to offer.
And maybe then we’ll find again,
what we had long forgotten.
Like a friend, true ’til the end,
it will help us onward.

The sun is high, the road is wide,
and it starts where we are standing.
No one knows how far it goes,
for the road is never-ending.

It goes away,
beyond what we have thought of.
It flows away,
Away like flowing water.

welcome, welcome to day 52 of a season of peace, a day vibrating at a frequency of stillness and to the eve of world water day…. although tomorrow we celebrate a day of honoring and blessing water, everyday is truly a blessing water day, water is the innernet connecting us all, the more blessings of peace, love and harmony we pour into water, the more peaceful, loving and harmonious life is… thousandfold thanks for our joining hands across the cosmos in sacred honoring… thousandfold thanks, water, for giving us life and blessing our earth walks… standing before you, we re-member we are water, we are the ocean in a drop… may our one heart be purified more than ever before for the benefit of all as we drink you into our being and as water reciprocates in the next breath by blessing us and generously bestowing pure water spirits throughout the web of life… water is a mirror for us as well as perfectly mirroring us… water responds in perfect harmony to the messages we send; the more beautiful our transmission, the more beautifully water creates all that is..

as we witness the sun sync into the sea, let us echo a song of the whales, recordkeepers of the ocean of being encouraging our re-membering who we are in this moment of stillness dancing through the fires of purification, clean-sing in the womb of motherwaters breaking through, crowning, poised for rebirth…

~

Let us bless the grace of water:

The imagination of the primeval ocean
Where the first forms of life stirred
And emerged to dress the vacant earth
With warm quilts of color.

The well whose liquid root worked
Through the long night of clay,
Trusting ahead of itself openings
That would yet yield to its yearning
Until at last it arises in the desire of light
To discover the pure quiver of itself
Flowing crystal clear and free
Through delighted emptiness.

The courage of a river to continue belief
In the slow fall of ground,
Always falling farther
Toward the unseen ocean.

The river does what words would love,
Keeping its appearance
By insisting on disappearance;
Its only life surrendered
To the event of pilgrimage,
Carrying the origin to the end.

Seldom pushing or straining,
Keeping itself to itself
Everywhere all along its flow…

Let us bless the humility of water,
Always willing to take the shape
Of whatever otherness holds it,

The buoyantsea of water
Stronger than the deadening,
Downward drag of gravity,
The innocence of water,
Flowing forth, without thought
Of what awaits it,
The refreshment of water,
Dissolving the crystals of thirst.

Water: voice of grief,
Cry of love,
In the flowing tear.

Water: vehicle and idiom
Of all the inner voyaging
That keeps us alive.

Blessed be water,
Our first mother.

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 95 – 3/20/2020

“When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused.”
Rainer Maria Rilke

welcome, welcome to day 51 of a season of peace, a day of a pilgrimage of devocean to the sea for our fourteenth annual whalewatching re-treat, the strangest, most surreal and sublime one thus far… how i love this day of equinox, of sacred pause, this profound portal all the more so as we stand in such a pivotal moment with everything hanging in the balance… are you feeling the serpentine energies rising from the earth to marry the soular rays flowing down from the skies activating the creation of the cosmic egg as the sun moves into aries and the new astrological year calling for the rebirth of SELF?

awakening today with a smile, i re-member a quintessence of years ago, i received the dream of going into the wasteland to anoint with holy water which led to a pilgrimage to gather holy water from the heart chakra of the planet as we depart for unharted waters in uncertain times of cosmic chaos cycle…

so much to breathe in this moment  and breathe out with a deep sigh of  ah, of awe… yes! the whole of gaia is in balance today as we celebrate the festival of the sun, the day we all receive the same amount of sun externally and internally… on this day of the earth’s poles being in balance and light piercing through both hemispheres, we are able to see through dimensional veils… seeing the world through eyes of balance, she sings a song of harmony on this first day of the new astrological turn around the sun…

yes! i love this day of balance, such happiness flows like a bubbling brook which reminds me that in addition to being equinox, today is also the International Day of Happiness as decreed by the United Nations… and, it’s the first day of fall for southern hemisphereians and spring for those in the north…

may we be filled with the energies of balance and harmony radiating from this libra super full moon on this high holy day of equinox, of sacred pause with every breath being a blessingway, a blessingway of deepening balance, a flowing with the waters of life in harmony revealing every moment as sacred in our cosmic heart of love…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 94 – 3/19/2020

welcome, welcome to day 50 of a season of peace, equinox and the day of 10 kan in the mayan calendar and the first day of the astrological calendar as the sun moves into aries…

thank you, beloved beauty, emissary of light for this stellar day, equinox being one of my favorites and made so much more special with its being the day of the feathered rainbow serpent, the day of awakening the kan energy, the chi, prana, kundalini, a day of syncing into stillness and being harmony in a culture deepening into lovingkindness, care and compassion…

i feel a moment of quaking at today’s call of the wild to defy gravity even more, to break my heart open wider – am i up for this adventure? yes, hell yes, i am made for this, we are made for this alchemizing, this transmuting of our illusion of certainty into flowing with what is… smiling and chanting thank you, thank you, thank you, i dive into the oceanic depths breathing through our one heart in the rhythm of the waves. in the stillness of deep mystery

according to pythia, psychedelphic rainbow serpent living in the deep waters of the heart of gaia, the great secret of life is to be perfectly still, slowing down to a standstill perfectly poised in peace, breathing into the belly and out through the crown resting more deeply with every breath in the stillpoint of creation where there’s only the dance of rainbow mystery calling us to join in moving in the rhythm that peace prevails on earth and begins with me and thee until we are one wave encircling the cosmos breathing and being peace in every cell and thought, word and deed… yes!

let us close this day of viral love in stillness and KEEPING QUIET with Pablo Neruda…

~

Now we will count to twelve
and we will all keep still.

For once on the face of the earth,
let’s not speak in any language;
let’s stop for one second,
and not move our arms so much.

It would be an exotic moment
without rush, without engines;
we would all be together
in a sudden strangeness.

Fisherman in the cold sea
would not harm whales
and the man gathering salt
would look at his hurt hands.

Those who prepare green wars,
wars with gas, wars with fire,
victories with no survivors,
would put on clean clothes
and walk about with their brothers
in the shade, doing nothing.

What I want should not be confused
with total inactivity.
Life is what it is about;
I want no truck with death.

If we were not so single-minded
about keeping our lives moving,
and for once could do nothing,
perhaps a huge silence
might interrupt this sadness
of never understanding ourselves
and of threatening ourselves with death.
Perhaps the earth can teach us
as when everything seems dead
and later proves to be alive.

Now I’ll count up to twelve
and you keep quiet and I will go.

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 93 – 3/18/2020

welcome, welcome to day 49 of a season of peace and to a foreshadowing of/illuminating tomorrow (march 19) when we celebrate equinox as a   festival of the sun, a day to honor the balancing of the sun within oneself… let us share the experience of the inner sun of spirit so beautifully illuminated by this lovely sunlit eye and this poem of Lawrence Ferlinghetti…

Instructions to Painters & Poets

I asked a hundred painters and a hundred poets
how to paint sunlight
on the face of life
Their answers were ambiguous and ingenuous
as if they were all guarding trade secrets
Whereas it seems to me
all you have to do
is conceive of the whole world
and all humanity
as a kind of art work
a site-specific art work
an art project of the god of light
the whole earth and all that’s in it
to be painted with light

And the first thing you have to do
is paint out postmodern painting
And the next thing is to paint yourself
in your true colors
in primary colors
as you see them
(without whitewash)
paint yourself as you see yourself
without make-up
without masks
Then paint your favorite people and animals
with your brush loaded with light
And be sure you get the perspective right
and don’t fake it
because one false line leads to another

And don’t forget to paint
all those who lived their lives
as bearers of light
Paint their eyes
and the eyes of every animal
and the eyes of beautiful women
known best for the perfection of their breasts
and the eyes of men and women
known only for the light of their minds
Paint the light of their eyes
the light of sunlit laughter
the song of eyes
the song of birds in flight

And remember that the light is within
if it is anywhere
and you must paint from the inside

~

may we be sunlit laughter…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 92 – 3/17/2020

Happy St Paddy’s Day!

and, welcome, welcome to day 48 of a season of peace; on this day in the chaos cycle of life, let’s transport ourselves to the emerald isle energetically as i re-member a long ago conversation with and journey to the sun who told me to live in green for that is the color of love and now, who better to hear an echo from than her late great native son, John O’Donahue…

A Celebration Blessing

Now is the time
to free the heart,
Let all intentions and worries stop,
Free the joy inside the self,
Awaken to the wonder
of your life.

Open your eyes and see the friends
Whose hearts recognize your face as kin,
Those whose kindness watchful and near,
Encourages you to live everything here.

See the gifts the years have given,
Things your effort could never earn,
The health to enjoy who you want to be
And the mind to mirror mystery.

May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
may the clarity of light be yours,
may the fluency of the ocean be yours,
may the protection of the ancestors be yours.

~

…may a slow
wind work these words
of love around you bringing a smile to your soul…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 91 – 3/16/2020

welcome, welcome to day 47 of  a season of peace,a day vibrating at the frequency of transmutation and how rapidly the energies are moving, are dancing in seamless synchrony…

oh, beloved, i love the way you ring our chimes and thank you, beloveds, for hearing our bells’ vulnerable ring and resonating so sweetly through the one soul song of our cosmic heart… feeling the love flowing through our quantum field lifts us all while simultaneously deepening us into the ground of being… the sound of many bells ringing as one is the ecstatic rhapsody of the cosmos is all our relations turning and whirling and dancing as one seamless rainbow wave of light endlessly breathing in and breathing out, rolling in and rolling out always flowing home…

may we all ring out our one love song ceaselessly dancing to the ancient tune of…

~

we all come from the goddess

and to her we shall return

like a drop of rain flowing to the ocean

~

we all come from the goddess

and to her we shall return

hoof and horn, hoof and horn, all that dies is reborn

~

we all come from the goddess

and to her we shall return

sage and crone, sage and crone, wisdom’s gift is our own

~

we all come from the goddess

and to her we shall return

like a drop of rain flowing to the ocean

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 90 – 3/15/2020

welcome, welcome to day 46 of a season of peace and the day we celebrate the astonishing light of our being, a day of grace for me as i have luxuriated in a field of chi as many of our relatives across our beloved mother gathered in a healing field being a commonunity of care and compassion…

and, yes, i’m aware today is the day to beware, which is short for be aware, of the ides of march… powerful winds roaring through today calling attention to the ever present spirits… portending the ending of a cycle and our embarking on a mysterious journey into the unknown… are you feeling the call of the old collapsing and the need to sing a new song of the earth?

and, is this moment of real-eye-sing we’re going thru a graduate course of impermanence on steroids feeling like we’re on a precarious precipice witnessing the call to leap off into the abyss wondering if this will be the death of us?

dear co-hearts, breathe in, breathe out… be open, be love… break open and empty… let go to flow… rupture to rapture… rhapsody of love… carries us home on the wings of a dove…

i want to close tonight as i want to close every peace from this day forward – with the tibetan light the flame prayer, a meditation on healing, on wholing the cosmos, a vibration of peace and harmony inspiring a 20 20 vision for our vaya con gaia en paz as a culture of care where all belong…

~

From today onward
Until the attainment of enlightenment
May I be willing
To live with my chaos and confusion
And that of all other sentient beings.

May I be willing
To share our mutual confusion
And work incessantly and humbly
To help and elevate everyone without exception
.

~

presenced in our one cosmic heart of wisdom circle, thank you for our flowing together trusting in our power to hear our soul song and to surrender wholeheartedly to the new world of peace, love and harmony we came here to co-create

a la la ho…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 89 – 3/14/2020

welcome, welcome to day 45 of a season of peace and to the second anniversary of a day of compassion as students, teachers and parents across the land walked out of their classrooms to say enough is enough on the one month anniversary of the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland Florida…

today is also peace pi day,the infinitely nonrepeating numbers containing the answers to everything and the infinite number of ways it whispers to us about how it all boils down to the shero’s journey of transformation – from the illusion of a separated small self to  the reality of the one true SELF and today also marks the second anniversary of Stephan Hawking’s transmutation… born auspiciously on the 300th anniversary of Galileo’s death, Professor Hawking also died auspiciously on Albert Einstein’s birthday…  i love this star going into the cosmos to travel into infinity in such synchronicity…

let us take this moment to listen to this freespirit…

Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.
It matters that you don’t just give up…

The role played by time at the beginning of the universe is, I believe, the final key to removing the need for a Grand Designer, and revealing how the universe created itself. … Time itself must come to a stop. You can’t get to a time before the big bang, because there was no time before the big bang. We have finally found something that does not have a cause because there was no time for a cause to exist in. For me this means there is no possibility of a creator because there is no time for a creator to have existed. Since time itself began at the moment of the Big Bang, it was an event that could not have been caused or created by anyone or anything…

For millions of years, mankind lived just like the animals. Then something happened which unleashed the power of our imagination. We learned to talk and we learned to listen. Speech has allowed the communication of ideas, enabling human beings to work together to build the impossible. Mankind’s greatest achievements have come about by talking, and its greatest failures by not talking. It doesn’t have to be like this. Our greatest hopes could become reality in the future. With the technology at our disposal, the possibilities are unbounded”…

may we all journey along the path with heart deepening our connection to source and our being one with beloved in this moment, this beautiful moment…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 88 – 3/13/2020

welcome, welcome to day 44 of a season of peace, a most auspicious day falling on friday the 13th, the 88th day of this seventh year of daily postings of the ppp and the 44th day of the 64 days of a season of peace….

i began this calendar turn around the sun writing a letter to a young peace activist  a la rilke with the encouragement to live the quest ions; today in the midst of such an intense chaos cycle going on for so many moons and the emerge and see of the corona, the crowning in the birth process, i want to share another letter to a young activist written back in 2001 by a sistar jungian, the cantadora of colorado who’s traveling with us and inspiring us on the caravan of re-joy-sing…

Mis estimados queridos, My Esteemed Ones:

Do not lose heart. We were made for these times.

I have heard from so many recently who are deeply and properly bewildered. They are concerned about the state of affairs in our world right now. It is true, one has to have strong cojones and ovarios to withstand much of what passes for “good” in our culture today. Abject disregard of what the soul finds most precious and irreplaceable and the corruption of principled ideals have become, in some large societal arenas, “the new normal,” the grotesquerie of the week.

It is hard to say which one of the current egregious matters has rocked people’s worlds and beliefs more. Ours is a time of almost daily jaw-dropping astonishment and often righteous rage over the latest degradations of what matters most to civilized, visionary people.

…You are right in your assessments. The lustre and hubris some have aspired to while endorsing acts so heinous against children, elders, everyday people, the poor, the unguarded, the helpless, is breathtaking.

Yet … I urge you, ask you, gentle you, to please not spend your spirit dry by bewailing these difficult times. Especially do not lose hope. Most particularly because, the fact is – we were made for these times.

Yes. For years, we have been learning, practicing, been in training for and just waiting to meet on this exact plain of engagement. I cannot tell you often enough that we are definitely the leaders we have been waiting for, and that we have been raised, since childhood, for this time precisely.

…I grew up on the Great Lakes and recognize a seaworthy vessel when I see one. Regarding awakened souls, there have never been more able crafts in the waters than there are right now across the world. And they are fully provisioned and able to signal one another as never before in the history of humankind.

I would like to take your hands for a moment and assure you that you are built well for these times. Despite your stints of doubt, your frustrations in arighting all that needs change right now, or even feeling you have lost the map entirely, you are not without resource, you are not alone.

Look out over the prow; there are millions of boats of righteous souls on the waters with you. In your deepest bones, you have always known this is so.

Even though your veneers may shiver from every wave in this stormy roil, I assure you that the long timbers composing your prow and rudder come from a forest greater. That long-grained lumber is known to withstand storms, to hold together, to hold its own, and to advance, regardless.

… We have been in training for a dark time such as this, since the day we assented to come to Earth. For many decades, worldwide, souls just like us have been felled and left for dead in so many ways over and over — brought down by naiveté, by lack of love, by suddenly realizing one deadly thing or another, by not realizing something else soon enough, by being ambushed and assaulted by various cultural and personal shocks in the extreme.

We all have a heritage and history of being gutted, and yet remember this especially … we have also, of necessity, perfected the knack of resurrection.

Over and over again we have been the living proof that that which has been exiled, lost, or foundered – can be restored to life again. This is as true and sturdy a prognosis for the destroyed worlds around us as it was for our own once mortally wounded selves.

…Though we are not invulnerable, our risibility supports us to laugh in the face of cynics who say “fat chance,” and “management before mercy,” and other evidences of complete absence of soul sense. This, and our having been ‘to Hell and back’ on at least one momentous occasion, makes us seasoned vessels for certain. Even if you do not feel that you are, you are.

Even if your puny little ego wants to contest the enormity of your soul, the smaller self can never for long subordinate the larger Self. In matters of death and rebirth, you have surpassed the benchmarks many times. Believe the evidence of any one of your past testings and trials. Here it is: Are you still standing? The answer is, Yes! (And no adverbs like “barely” are allowed here). If you are still standing, ragged flags or no, you are able. Thus, you have passed the bar. And even raised it. You are seaworthy.

…In any dark time, there is a tendency to veer toward fainting over how much is wrong or unmended in the world. Do not focus on that. Do not make yourself ill with overwhelm. There is a tendency too to fall into being weakened by perseverating on what is outside your reach, by what cannot yet be. Do not focus there. That is spending the wind without raising the sails.

We are needed, that is all we can know. And though we meet resistance, we more so will meet great souls who will hail us, love us and guide us, and we will know them when they appear. Didn’t you say you were a believer? Didn’t you say you pledged to listen to a voice greater? Didn’t you ask for grace? Don’t you remember that to be in grace means to submit to the Voice greater? You have all the resource you need to ride any wave, to surface from any trough.

…In the language of aviators and sailors, ours is to sail forward now, all balls out. Understand the paradox: If you study the physics of a waterspout, you will see that the outer vortex whirls far more rapidly than the inner one. To calm the storm means to quiet the outer layer, to cause it, by whatever countervailing means, to swirl much less, to more evenly match the velocity of the inner, far less volatile core – till whatever has been lifted into such a vicious funnel falls back to Earth, lays down, is peaceable again.

One of the most important steps you can take to help calm the storm is to not allow yourself to be taken in a flurry of overwrought emotion or despair – thereby accidentally contributing to the swale and the swirl. Ours is not the task of fixing the entire world all at once, but of stretching out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach.

Any small, calm thing that one soul can do to help another soul, to assist some portion of this poor suffering world, will help immensely.

It is not given to us to know which acts or by whom, will cause the critical mass to tip toward an enduring good. What is needed for dramatic change is an accumulation of acts – adding, adding to, adding more, continuing. We know that it does not take “everyone on Earth” to bring justice and peace, but only a small, determined group who will not give up during the first, second, or hundredth gale.

…One of the most calming and powerful actions you can do to intervene in a stormy world is to stand up and show your soul. Soul on deck shines like gold in dark times.

The light of the soul throws sparks, can send up flares, builds signal fires … causes proper matters to catch fire. To display the lantern of soul in shadowy times like these – to be fierce and to show mercy toward others, both — are acts of immense bravery and greatest necessity. Struggling souls catch light from other souls who are fully lit and willing to show it. If you would help to calm the tumult, this is one of the strongest things you can do.

…There will always be times in the midst of “success right around the corner, but as yet still unseen” when you feel discouraged. I too have felt despair many times in my life, but I do not keep a chair for it; I will not entertain it. It is not allowed to eat from my plate.

The reason is this: In my uttermost bones I know something, as do you. It is that there can be no despair when you remember why you came to Earth, who you serve, and who sent you here. The good words we say and the good deeds we do are not ours: They are the words and deeds of the One who brought us here.

In that spirit, I hope you will write this on your wall: When a great ship is in harbor and moored, it is safe, there can be no doubt. But … that is not what great ships are built for.

…This comes with much love and prayer that you remember Who you came from, and why you came to this beautiful, needful Earth.”

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 7 – Day 87 – 3/12/2020

We do not receive wisdom, we must discover it for ourselves, after a journey through the wilderness which no one else can make for us, which no one can spare us, for our wisdom is the point of view from which we come at last to regard the world.  ~ Marcel Proust ~

welcome, welcome to day 43 of a season of peace, a day when i’m singing YES! to wise hope… how can i possibly speak of wise hope and birthing dancing stars and harmony in this cosmic dark night of the soul you may be asking…

so many things in the dance of synchronicities we call life bring me to this quiet re-joy-sing… i love defying gravity and not succumbing to the virus of fear… i love turning emergency into emerge and see, emerge from the wilder ness and see the even more beautiful world breathing us right now, a world where we let go of illusion and tune into the frequency of true reality, of living freely… i love today is day 43 signifying epiphany and today has been one quiet epiphany after another… i love that as i have walked in the dark today, inner sight is so amplified and there has been such a treasure trove of souls walking home with me… i love grandmother humming harmony into all the cells of our one cosmic being… i love being open to receive… i love a day free of computer glitches, a day of spring, springing, bouncing back, birthing dancing stars

may we be filled with lovingkindness, peaceful and at ease, in balance, well and be filled with courage re-joy-sing in interbeing real-eye-sing there’s only one of us here in this iridescent, translucent web of light…
