Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 6 – Day 237 – 8/10/2019

Named Awaken 10-Rumi-Inner-Vision

i have been hearing this call to turn within and have been  doing my best to honor it but at the eleventh hour last friday after posting my peace, my computer suffered sudden death syndrome… try as i might to resuscitate, she was a goner…

i awaken this morning hoping for a specific miracle – that my computer returned from the near death experience but such was not the miracle i was being gifted… i had my moments of feeling so lost and bereft with so much of my blood, sweat and tears lost in the computer…

so, i breathe deeply into the belly the radiant light of the inner sun into every one of the trillions of wild cells we are and move into dreamtime to cluster together with other imaginal cells across the planet as great mystery breathes… us into being…

so much divine rest as i feel metaphorically taken back to factory settings to awaken into this cosmos of original blissing (blessing + bliss = blissing) where there’s no where (now here) to go and no thing to do, purely bearing witness to the present moment while acting locally, feeling globally and thinking cosmically…

going with the flow… opening to the unfolding… being still mountain reflecting in the mirror lake… attending, intending more and more light…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 6 – Day 236 – 8/9/2019

Named Awaken 9 Peace Park Nagasaki

seventy-four years ago today, at the end of World War II, an atomic bomb was dropped on the city of Nagasaki in Japan with the hypocenter right on the grounds of what is now the Peace Memorial Park where this sculpture rests…

listen to an excerpt from Words of the Sculptor about the Peace Statue he created to commemorate all who lost their lives to atomic radiation:

“After experiencing that nightmarish war, that blood-curdling carnage, that unendurable horror, Who could walk away without praying for peace? This statue was created as a signpost in the struggle for global harmony. Standing ten meters tall, it conveys the profundity of knowledge and the beauty of health and virility. The right hand points to the atomic bomb, the left hand points to peace, and the face prays deeply for the victims of war. Transcending the barriers of race and evoking the qualities of Buddha and God, it is a symbol of the greatest determination ever known in the history of Nagasaki and the highest hope of all mankind.”

-Seibo Kitamura (Spring 1995)

may we all sing out for love, peace and harmony for all our relations in our ever expanding and deepening uni/multiverse thanking great mystery for blessing us with every breath and pouring divine light of love generously across the cosm…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 6 – Day 235 – 8/8/2019

Named Awaken 8 lions-in-love

are you feeling the energy of your inner lioness, the divine feminine, roaring gently into all your wild cells and quickening the rhythmic flow of love and compassion?

yes, today the doors of love and compassion are flung wide open for all to breeze through with our courageous lionhearts into this brave new world of lovingkindness and compassion….

let’s all take this moment, this beautiful moment. to bask in the radiant light streaming through us to see all that is as it truly is… a beautyway of love and light…

how i love this portal, this gateway into higher and deeper realms of consciousness when potent messages from the invisible realms are flowing freely… involving three key players, the sun and earth and the star sirius, this portal is set in motion in july when the sun and sirius known as the spiritual sun seem to merge together and are seen as one with our sun swallowed by sirius to die and be reborn with the frequencies of sirius during the first week of august when the sun is in the constellation of leo giving us the name lions gate… the energies are potent throughout the week and especially dramatic on the 8th when the sun and earth are directly opposed and our reborn sun laser beams the energies of the spiritual sun into pachamama raising the earth’s frequency, raising our frequency to love and above… in this year of 2018 which vibrates at the master number frequency of eleven, the energies of empathy, compassion and understanding, so needed on the planet, are flooding the cosmos…

may we experience this magical day as a sacred gift woven around our one heart of wonder…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 6 – Day 234 – 8/7/2019

Named Awaken 7 Jo Mystery Wonder

yes, ah, great mystery…

in the midst of this collective dark night of the soul and this quickening of rebirth, let’s conspire, yes, breathe together with three deep, slow breaths into our core, the space of wisdom and with each deep breath feel the racing mind slowing down with the breath coming into resonance with the heart, with pachamama who loves us so and as we continue to inhale love, exhale with a sigh, an ahhhhh knowing that all is well in this moment, the eternal now moment we can return to and return to and return to with every breath…

these chaotic times bring me back to the caterpillars’ dark night of the soul after being such consumptive beings, they hang themselves upside down and live in a soupy cocoon with still the will to live so strong… in this stew, imaginal cells are forming with a new world vision of being free creatures of flight creating beauty wherever they go…

the old paradigm struggles to live as the new paradigmers cluster together and conspire… a cosmos of peace and harmony, love and joy… lo and behold, the old paradigm dissolves and the butterfly emerges…

so, imaginal cells of the cosmos unite, take heart trusting in the implicate order, rainbow mystery breathing us into luminosity!

“One can’t believe impossible things.” said Alice
“I daresay you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen.
“When I was your age, I always did it for a half an hour a day.
Why, sometime, I believed as many as six
impossible things before breakfast.”

Seventy-four years ago today, the beautiful child, Sadako, was two years old when the atomic bomb was dropped on her city of Hiroshima during the second world war… Nine years later, she developed the atomic bomb disease, leukemia… Hearing the ancient Japanese story that says when you fold 1000 paper cranes your wish will be granted, Sadako was able to fold 644 cranes with her wish for healing before she died at twelve years old from atomic radiation…

Inspired by her courage and strength, her friends and classmates dreamed of creating a monument to memorialize their friend and all children killed by the bomb. Young people all over the land of the rising sun realized their dream a couple of years later when in 1958 a statue of Sadako holding a golden crane was unveiled in the Hiroshima Peace Park. The children also made a wish. It is inscribed at the bottom of the statue and reads:

“This is our cry, This is our prayer, Peace in the world”.

Today, people all over the world continue to fold paper cranes and send them to Sadako’s monument in Hiroshima.

May we all take up their cry and prayer of peace in the world… May there be peace on earth and may it begin with me and thee…

Om, shanti shanti shantihi….

Named Awaken 5 PEACE in Hiroshima Atomic_Bomb_Dome_Aug_2016.

I was dead, then alive.
Weeping, then laughing.
The power of love came into me,
and I became fierce like a lion,
then tender like the evening star.

The Atomic Bomb Dome pictured here
was the only structure left standing in the area 74 years ago when the first atomic bomb was detonated in Hiroshima, Japan
Its marker reads:

“As a historical witness that conveys the tragedy of suffering the first atomic bomb in human history and as a symbol that vows to faithfully seek the abolition of nuclear weapons and everlasting world peace.”

~

the children of the earth gather this day in front of the Atomic Dome in the Hiroshima Memorial Park at exactly the time 74 years earlier that an explosion of atoms shattered the world… today, as millions come together across the world, we unite for an explosion of a vastly different sort… an explosion of love and peace, a chorus of voices with every country in the world represented in one unified prayer for peace… may peace prevail on earth…

yes, the one heart of all our relations choir is now unstoppable… yes, peace prevails on earth…

thousandfold thanks for standing together in love and peace for love and peace…

and, may we all join with Hiroshima Mayor Kazumi Matsui in calling for the total elimination of the world’s nuclear weapons…

heiwa, heiwa, heiwa…

typhoon francisco came roaring through Japan today and still we stood in peace for peace… thank you for joining in and being a pulse that lights up the world with prayers for harmony, conscious evolution and for peace to prevail on Earth… let us close with the Nuclear Prayer…

~

The Beginning and the End are in your hands, O Creator of the Universe. And in our hands you have placed the fate of this planet. We, who are tested by having both creative and destructive power in our free will, turn to you in sober fear and in intoxicating hope. We ask for your guidance and to share in your imagination in our deliberations about the use of nuclear force. Help us to lift the fog of atomic darkness that hovers so pervasively over our Earth, Your Earth, so that soon all eyes may see life magnified by your pure light. Bless all of us who wait today for your Presence and who dedicate ourselves to achieve your intended peace and rightful equilibrium on Earth. In the Name of all that is holy and all that is hoped. Amen.

Thousandfold Peace, Thousandfold Peace, Thousand Thousandfold Peace in our one cosmic heart…

Peace Prevails on Earth!

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 6 – Day 231 – 8/4/2019

Named Awaken 4 PEACE Cranes with sadakoi am at a loss today on this day when we celebrate the astonishing light of our being in the echo chamber of another day in the usa when we hear of two more incidents of unspeakable tragedy… so i dig deeply today for the light of our being wanting to be in communion to sing light in the dark, to fold a thousand cranes with you for us to all come together to chant grant us peace in honor of all who die every day re- membering it was 74 years ago today Anne Frank’s  family’s secret hiding place was raided…

i’m going to let the words of the APA president speak for me today…

~

“Our condolences are with the families and friends of those killed or injured in these horrific shootings and with all Americans affected every day by the twin horrors of hate and gun violence.

“As our nation tries to process the unthinkable yet again, it is clearer than ever that we are facing a public health crisis of gun violence fueled by racism, bigotry and hatred. The combination of easy access to assault weapons and hateful rhetoric is toxic. Psychological science has demonstrated that social contagion — the spread of thoughts, emotions and behaviors from person to person and among larger groups — is real, and may well be a factor, at least in the El Paso shooting.

“That shooting is being investigated as a hate crime, as it should be. Psychological science has demonstrated the damage that racism can inflict on its targets. Racism has been shown to have negative cognitive and behavioral effects on both children and adults and to increase anxiety, depression, self-defeating thoughts and avoidance behaviors.

“Routinely blaming mass shootings on mental illness is unfounded and stigmatizing. Research has shown that only a very small percentage of violent acts are committed by people who are diagnosed with, or in treatment for, mental illness. The rates of mental illness are roughly the same around the world, yet other countries are not experiencing these traumatic events as often as we face them. One critical factor is access to, and the lethality of, the weapons that are being used in these crimes. Adding racism, intolerance and bigotry to the mix is a recipe for disaster.

“If we want to address the gun violence that is tearing our country apart, we must keep our focus on finding evidence-based solutions. This includes restricting access to guns for people who are at risk for violence and working with psychologists and other experts to find solutions to the intolerance that is infecting our nation and the public dialogue.”

For people who are suffering distress in the aftermath of the shootings in Dayton and El Paso, APA offers a variety of resources, including:

may peace prevail in the usa, may peace prevail on earth may every thread of the web of life be peace now…

i awaken today with a song flowing through… flowing in love in a field of divine grace always being the soul of the space… many hours later i will come on the internet and hear of today’s latest mass shooting in the usa and be so grateful for spirit sending me the song for this unspeakable moment, this moment when our one heart breaks…

may our one heart break wide open for us to take right action, to take this moment, this wild precious moment to love boundlessly, for giving love is the most powerful medicine, the most healing elixir and may we hold a vision of every cell of our universe meditating peace, breathing peace, singing peace and this prayer flows in waves over the planet and creates our world anew… a cosmos of peace built on justice and guided by love…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 6 – Day 229 – 8/2/2019

Named Awaken 2 Rumi U R

what a lovely celebration today is of lammas, the soular harvest when the cycle of life invites our contemplating our blessings, reaping the harvest by seeing the big picture both cosmicly and in the ground of being – what are you harvesting? what has the garden you are grown this year?

in this sacred gathering moment in the heart field with daylight hours waning dramatically, i love going within, slowing down, pausing and listening to the cosmic hum, the music of the one animating spirit flowing through you, flowing through me, flowing through all our relations…

reflecting on my garden brings me right onto the pathless path i’ve been walking for almost twenty two months or is it twenty two years or twenty two lifetimes? anyway, it’s the path where we die before we die… dying to fixed ideas of the limited self, the protective self so that we can awaken in awe to whom we truly are…

looking through poetic eyes, metaphorical eyes, we witness a pregnant lioness on a high hill looking for food for the cub growing inside… she spies a flock of sheep and leaps down, down, down dying on impact with the blow of the landing… the baby cub is raised by the sheep and lives as a sheep until one day a lion approaches the flock heading straight for the young lion sheep who’s sure the end is nigh… the older lion carries the one who thinks she’s a sheep to a crystal clear lake and when the sheep lion sees her reflection, she roars in awe, awakening to whom she really is, a being of limitless courage, limitless heart who’s here on an ensouled sacred mission…

like the lion, each of us comes in with our own pathless path which is revealed through each blow, each little death when we courageously surrender to what is breaking open to our true boundless spirit nature…

in this regenerative space fueled generously by gratitude, let’s take a wild joyride on the high tides of sister moon into the ocean of imagination and dream wildly and expansively of what we’ll cultivate in the garden of being to serve the all…

thanks be to inner spirit, the one spirit leading us to contributing in a sacred way…

blissings!
