the plight of refugees all over the cosmos is one that breaks my heart calling for bearing witness, subtle activism and taking action, sacred activism… to this end, it breaks my heart wide open to join with the American Friends Service Committee in the National Week of Action to End Child Detention…

Children belong in schools and homes, not in prison camps. But today, more than 2,000 child migrants are being held at Homestead detention center, about 30 miles south of Miami, Florida. It’s the largest detention site for migrant children in the U.S. – and it continues to grow.

Most of these children have fled violence and poverty in Central America and are seeking asylum in the United States. Many were separated from their family members or relatives after crossing into the U.S.

But instead of being released to family members or other sponsors in the community to await hearings on their cases, many of these children will spend weeks or months in detention – with lasting traumatic effects.

Now is the time to stand with migrants from Central America and other parts of the world who are seeking safety and peace. Please join AFSC, community members, immigrant advocates, and many others in demanding the shutdown of Homestead Detention Center – and in urging Congress to do everything in their power to end child detention.

may we all  be guided by an inner light  telling us that keeping refugee children in prison is an affront to the entire human race… we must do better…

today, as i contemplate the old story of there’s a spirit in everything, Rilke’s words arise organically as do Michelangelo’s…

I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.

and even more emphatically when he says…

Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.

aren’t these words all an excellent instruction manual on how to align with great spirit, rainbow mystery, the one heart, creative process, authenticity?…

yes, listen, listen, listen ever more deeply to our heartsong… release the spirit of the wise pilgrim navigating the journey, the genie always within every bottle/body… and then, may we all proclaim, free at last, free at last…

 today is another very special day on the pilgrimage with so much to celebrate… 2001 days is perfect for an image of space ODDyssey and this image is spot on for showing the astonishing light of our being and it captures perfectly where  I AM on the forth anniversary of the dogstar, the blue star rupturing open my physical eye awakening  seeing predominantly with the spirit eye…

today is so very sacred… it’s world oceans day and i love, love, love how it coincides significantly, synchronizes, with 2000 days of writing this peace daily and the fourth anniversary of the opening of the fire eye, a four year initiation into the great turning, the shift of the ages, the coming home to the heart, the deepening into mystical/mythical consciousness of imagination in that field of the great beyond where everything’s interbeing as one, related, connected living organism always expanding and always deepening… yes, much to celebrate on this dark night when the invisible realms are birthing dancing stars…

Canada made the original proposal for World Oceans Day in 1992 at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The day has been unofficially celebrated every June 8 since then, and, in 2008, the United Nations officially recognized it.

Today, I celebrate with a special interior pilgrimage to the sea of love energy, sacred space of dancing rainbow mystery, such a journey always brings me back to me… is there anything more deepening than listening to our mother waters magnetizing us home… than breathing in the rhythms of waves… than flowing and ebbing with the tides…

As the First Peoples remind us and live… Mni Wiconi, Water is Life… Like the First Peoples and Sylvia Earle, I think of the ocean as the blue heart of the planet… It is the one true connection of all our relations – let us celebrate her everyday…

May I be a guard for those who need protection

 the words quoted above inspire today’s  holding space for the benefit of all that is… and what a day it is, the 1999th day of writing this peace everyday no matter what, the space for being naked in the now – holy synchronicity! – five years ago on this day this was also literally true as i found myself in the middle of  thousands of Portalandia’s naked bike riders on their annual jaunt…

four years ago on this very day, another amazing adventure unfolded and still unfolds as i took off  for parts unknown with everything humming along until my chariot died on a busy thoroughfare foreshadowing quite an initiation to come…

interestingly, the re-birthed chariot, baby blue was feeling the anniversary and when i went out to start her today, she was once again dead as a door nail…

so, as baby blue comes back to life, i feel myself shedding the skin that no longer fits to don a new skin, a skin more expansive and deeper, a skin vibrating in every cell at the frequency of peace with nowhere to go as i’m now here, naked in the now, totally cool with what is…

sometimes,we intend on going somewhere and then something takes you somewhere else… this describes my days of late… i intend on waking up wrapped in original blessin, instead, i awaken wrapped in a pervasive sadness, a grief that feels like it belongs to us all… today’s emerge and see was  hp crashing and losing so much… a moment of despair and grief flew in followed many moments later by a wildpeace and gratitude for a day of presence unencumbered with a device, a day to reflect on the soul and the messiness of birthing and re-birthing as we collectively journey down the birth canal…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 6 – Day 171 – 6/5/2019

today is the 51st anniversary of the shooting of Robert F Kennedy, a man who suffered deeply following the assassination of his brother, a man who faced darkness, who tamed the savage forces and transmuted them into a widening circle of compassion…

a mere two months earlier, the world was shaken by the murder of Martin Luther King… on this day of re-membering Bobby and the promise of rebirth he embodies, let us turn to his words of wise leadership in a moment of volcanic eruption to help with grief…

I have bad news for you, for all of our fellow citizens, and people who love peace all over the world, and that is that Martin Luther King was shot and killed tonight.

Martin Luther King dedicated his life to love and to justice for his fellow human beings, and he died because of that effort.

In this difficult day, in this difficult time for the United States, it is perhaps well to ask what kind of a nation we are and what direction we want to move in. For those of you who are black–considering the evidence there evidently is that there were white people who were responsible–you can be filled with bitterness, with hatred, and a desire for revenge. We can move in that direction as a country, in great polarization–black people amongst black, white people amongst white, filled with hatred toward one another.

Or we can make an effort, as Martin Luther King did, to understand and to comprehend, and to replace that violence, that stain of bloodshed that has spread across our land, with an effort to understand with compassion and love.

For those of you who are black and are tempted to be filled with hatred and distrust at the injustice of such an act, against all white people, I can only say that I feel in my own heart the same kind of feeling. I had a member of my family killed, but he was killed by a white man. But we have to make an effort in the United States, we have to make an effort to understand, to go beyond these rather difficult times.

My favorite poet was Aeschylus. He wrote: “In our sleep, pain which cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart until, in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom through the awful grace of God.”

What we need in the United States is not division; what we need in the United States is not hatred; what we need in the United States is not violence or lawlessness; but love and wisdom, and compassion toward one another, and a feeling of justice toward those who still suffer within our country, whether they be white or they be black.

So I shall ask you tonight to return home, to say a prayer for the family of Martin Luther King, that’s true, but more importantly to say a prayer for our own country, which all of us love–a prayer for understanding and that compassion of which I spoke.

We can do well in this country. We will have difficult times; we’ve had difficult times in the past; we will have difficult times in the future. It is not the end of violence; it is not the end of lawlessness; it is not the end of disorder.

But the vast majority of white people and the vast majority of black people in this country want to live together, want to improve the quality of our life, and want justice for all human beings who abide in our land.

Let us dedicate ourselves to what the Greeks wrote so many years ago: to tame the savageness of man and make gentle the life of this world.

Let us dedicate ourselves to that, and say a prayer for our country and for our people.

may we dedicate ourselves to peace…

in these quickening times, i am so greatful for everyone’s holding the space of light, love, compassion and generosity… today, under the new moon on the 100th anniversary of women getting the right to vote in the usa, i roar a thousand thousandfold thanks for your being the light and anchoring it in every cell of the cosmos… and now from John O’Donohue, a blessing to help in those moments of weariness, loneliness, overwhelm and anxiety when we are not feeling the astonishing light waveness of being…

today we draw down the energy of the dark moon beckoning us to journey within…

connecting the heart and throat with energy flowing freely allowing us to speak our truth… with heart and throat connected, communication is our gift… may we be open to listen, open to speak, open to connecting with the truth… may we be ready to see, ready to own our path, ready to love… blessed be…

 beautiful intentions for this new moon in gemini, the sixth moon of the thirteen moons known as the earth regeneration moon where set intentions for this moment, every moment, this day, this moon…

as we relax into the stillpoint by deeply breathing through our one heart way down into the belly, the earth of our being, we contemplate what is it we value deeply and wish for all our relations throughout the cosmos… especially if no specific answers arise, trust the answers are unfolding in perfect rhythm…

now, let’s set another intention, a commitment, a tone  using the four immeasurables prayer:

sauntering in an awakened way today back to the garden feeling in every wild cell we are stardust and golden tuned into cosmic hum and attuning to soul song – such a lovely frequency this sounding/resounding of birdsong inspiring the courage to show up wholeheartedly for  the path with heart, to sing the soul song, in this moment of celebrating our astonishing light beingness…

being rippling circles of love is a dance of grace where we are joined by beautiful souls also choosing to walk in this sacred way – how i love being in this moment with you…

thousandfold thanks for blessing this day with gifts, lessons, loving awareness and friends…

may our energy flow be a blessing to all co-hearts on the path…

welcome to jelling in an awakened way on the path of liberation june where we move even more deeply into the sacred space of wholehearted open spaciousness… grounded in and connected to the stillness in the core of being, dynamically present and open to the fluid present moment, to what is, feeling the deep peace and joy of the running wave dissolving us into the atmosphere, rebirthing us, jelling us into the new beginning that’s been unfolding since the beginning…

it’s taking quite a while for this jelling, this coming together in a new way and it feels so right for it to be happening in june, the marrying moon named for   Juno who was known as the goddess of love, marriage and childbirth and the new moon will draw down in another few hours…
