Our task must be to free ourselves…by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
– Albert Einstein –

on this good friday, this day of crucifixion, under the second full moon in libra, the passover and resurrection moon, i ponder being in the crossroads, at a cross-point, called to die to the false self, to stop and listen in the stillpoint resting in the flow of the river below the river waiting patiently for what arises…

on this day of deep listening in the quantum field, i hear yeshua’s (yes you are) revolutionary words of how to be true….

“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Gospel of St. Matthew 5:3-10

and, a little more balm on this moment of dissolution, a re-working of my favorite psalm…
the Earth is our Mother
we shall not want
her hand brings forth green pastures
she tarries within the still waters
she leads us into fields of fruitfulness
yea, as we walk through the summer of life unto death,
we will not be afraid, for thou are with us
her womb in the earth enfolds us
she prepares a harvest before us and blesses the seven generations
she fills us with milk and honey
our cup overflows
surely, goodness and beauty will nurture us all the days of our life,
and we will be part of the earth forever
