deep within our ancient bloodstream

listen for the lost chords’ echoes

of a mystical, ethereal consciousness

where we all swim in an ocean of flow

~

listen for the lost chords’ echoes

coursing throughout the river beloved

where we all swim in an ocean of flow

re-membering paradise in mother’s watery womb

~

coursing throughout the river beloved

awakening to dreams of this new world breathing

re-membering paradise in mother’s watery womb

we travel as one on spirit’s pathless path

~

awakening to dreams of this new world breathing

where peace, love and bliss abide in each moment

re-membering paradise in mother’s watery womb,

what dreams are you whispering as the new world today?

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 4 – Day 206 – 7/10/2017

Named Jubilee July 10 PEACEful Communication

we’re still in the radiating phase of this full moon in capricorn, this moon of coming home to the core… what better moment for us to gather together in peaceful communion for one more continuous wave of lovingkindness and compassion…

let’s start by connecting in the heart with everyone radiating love and appreciation to each other… practicing such core heart qualities of love, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, patience and listening to our one heart’s invitations builds resilience and balance , states we need to increase in these turbulent times…

join me now in Heartmath’s Full Moon Care Focus…

1. Center yourself in the heart and breathe the feeling of appreciation and care for yourself or others. This activates your heart energy.

2. Imagine with each breath that your mind, emotions and body are becoming still inside. This helps focus your energy.

3. Now, visualize and build a commitment to keep your vibration up by daily practices of core heart qualities of care, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, patience, stillness, etc. This increases your inner-balance and resilience for reducing and preventing stress.

4. Next, radiate unconditional love and compassion and see this energy lifting the vibration of the global energetic environment.

5. Visualize humanity increasingly realizing that the world is calling for us to accept our differences and to collaborate with our collective knowledge to resolve global challenges and create a thriving planet. Nothing much will change until we can get along better with each other.

6. Now let’s close by radiating our unconditional love and deepest compassion to all who are experiencing fear, suffering or hardship through these changing times.

thank you for being a vast infinite cosmic peace wave

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 4 – Day 205 – 7/9/2017

Named Jubilee July 9 Radiance 2017-07-08 004

for this week’s edition of the astonishing light of being, Nia – that’s Welsh for radiance – takes center stage… she arrived, as befits her name, around summer soulstice and daily reminds me of every soul arriving here with a hidden spark… this wee furry ball’s flame of life burns so brightly, the sparks transmute absence into presence as she frolics in the moment reminding me, without words, it is the only moment… thank you, sweet guard of  being here now for illuminating the path home… and that reminds me, dear guardian dog spirit, of a prayer recited daily by the Dalai Lama…

May I Be a Guard
May I be a guard for those who need protection
A guide for those on the path
A boat, a raft, a bridge for those who wish to cross the flood
May I be a lamp in the darkness
A resting place for the weary
A healing medicine for all who are sick
A vase of plenty, a tree of miracles
And for the boundless multitudes of living beings
May I bring sustenance and awakening
Enduring like the earth and the sky
Until all beings are free from sorrow
And all are awakened.

~

may we all remain tuned into and in touch with the inner spark and light of soul…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 4 – Day 204/4 Years – Day 1300 – 7/8/2017

Named Jubilee July 8 Moon Full in Capricorn 7-19-16 001.

an amazing day of coming home to the stillpoint for nonstop conversing, living with, being full moon…  plugged into source with full intention and attention… an awesome day of being the soul of the space and vibrating with the multiverse at the frequency of our one heart… an awakened day of traveling in the company of a divine communion resonating love…

Home is where one starts from. As we grow older
The world becomes stranger, the pattern more complicated
Of dead and living. Not the intense moment
Isolated, with no before and after,
But a lifetime burning in every moment
And not the lifetime of one man only
But of old stones that cannot be deciphered.
There is a time for the evening under starlight,
A time for the evening under lamplight
(The evening with the photograph album).
Love is most nearly itself
When here and now cease to matter.
Old men ought to be explorers
Here or there does not matter
We must be still and still moving
Into another intensity
For a further union, a deeper communion… In my end is my beginning.

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 4 – Day 202 – 7/6/2017

Named Jubilee July 6 Happy Birthday HH

i love this picture of the Dalai Lama as a child and i love taking the occasion of his 82nd birthday to celebrate his powerful presence with his inspiring words…

“Every day, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others; to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can.”

~

yes, may we all breathe in his blessings of gratitude, compassion and service deeply through our one heart…

i’d like to close with a few more words from His Holiness, words he said as he was leaving Portland following an Earth Summit…

“I’m always mentioning that mentally, emotionally and physically we are the same human being. So the potential which I have and that I use – you also have that same potential. You must realize that potential and utilize that potential as much as you can. Then you will be a happy person and live a meaningful life.”

Happy Birthday!

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 4 – Day 201 – 7/5/2017

Named Jubilee July 5 Interdependence

“When we strive to make our lives, every thought, word and action, a living Wopida, we are given a great spiritual gift. For whenever our soul and the inmost chambers of our heart are filled with thanksgiving and gratitude it also naturally becomes filled with compassion, love, understanding, forgiveness, joy, happiness and oneness. When our lives are centered in this State of Consciousness, there is no room left for the experience of fear, hate, prejudice, revenge, jealousy, loneliness and disunity. There is no room for anything that separates ourselves and our oneness with our Beloved Creator, our Human Family and all Life, seen and unseen.” – Hereditary Chief, Phil Lane Jr.

~

on the heels of celebrating the USA’s Independence Day as Interdependence Day, a day which our cosmos needs to live everyday to heal the turbulence of war, famine, homelessness, climate destruction and unprecedented inequality… it is incumbent on all our relations to re-member the road to liberation, the path of liberty and justice for all is the way of interdependence, of real-eye-sing we are one… here now the 1992 Declaration of Interdependence delivered at the Earth Summit in Rio…

This we know

We are the earth, through the plants and animals that nourish us.
We are the rains and the oceans that flow through our veins.
We are the breath of the forests of the land, and the plants of the sea.
We are human animals, related to all other life as descendants of the firstborn cell.
We share with these kin a common history, written in our genes.
We share a common present, filled with uncertainty.
And we share a common future, as yet untold.
We humans are but one of thirty million species weaving the thin layer of life enveloping the world.
The stability of communities of living things depends upon this diversity.
Linked in that web, we are interconnected — using, cleansing, sharing and replenishing the fundamental elements of life.
Our home, planet Earth, is finite; all life shares its resources and the energy from the sun, and therefore has limits to growth.
For the first time, we have touched those limits.
When we compromise the air, the water, the soil and the variety of life, we steal from the endless future to serve the fleeting present.

This we believe

Humans have become so numerous and our tools so powerful that we have driven fellow creatures to extinction, dammed the great rivers, torn down ancient forests, poisoned the earth, rain and wind, and ripped holes in the sky.
Our science has brought pain as well as joy; our comfort is paid for by the suffering of millions.
We are learning from our mistakes, we are mourning our vanished kin, and we now build a new politics of hope.
We respect and uphold the absolute need for clean air, water and soil.
We see that economic activities that benefit the few while shrinking the inheritance of many are wrong.
And since environmental degradation erodes biological capital forever, full ecological and social cost must enter all equations of development.
We are one brief generation in the long march of time; the future is not ours to erase.
So where knowledge is limited, we will remember all those who will walk after us, and err on the side of caution.

This we resolve

All this that we know and believe must now become the foundation of the way we live.
At this turning point in our relationship with Earth, we work for an evolution: from dominance to partnership; from fragmentation to connection; from insecurity, to interdependence.

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 4 – Day 200 – 7/4/2017

Named Jubilee July 4 Interdependence 2017

As we celebrate in the USA our Declaration of Independence (signed in 1776), we also affirm our fundamental Interdependence with fellow citizens of our community, our country and the planet. The first Declaration of Interdependence was written by Will Durant in 1944, and since then there have been many versions offered by different people and organizations. This affirmation  written by Melanie Bacon is perfect for every day…

We hold these truths to be self-evident:

That all life is interconnected, and endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights and responsibilities,

That among these are presence, compassion, and the pursuit of happiness.
That to secure these rights and responsibilities,

We open our minds and hearts to the needs of others, and our own true needs,

We hear the sound of the living universe in our ears, and add our voices to the song,

We live every moment with awareness of the purity and power of existence.

And for the support of this Declaration, we pledge to each other our love and our breath,

For the freedom of the one is the freedom of the all, and the pain of the one is the pain of the all;

The breath of the one is the breath of the all, and the breath of the all is the breath of God.

Named Jubilee July 3 Stillpoint Snow in PDX at Park 1-10-17

At the still point of the turning world. Neither flesh nor fleshless;
Neither from nor towards; at the still point, there the dance is,
But neither arrest nor movement. And do not call it fixity,
Where past and future are gathered. Neither movement from nor towards,
Neither ascent nor decline. Except for the point, the still point,
There would be no dance, and there is only the dance.

~T S Eliot ~

perhaps, it’s because today is the day of I’x on the Maya calendar, the day of feminine spirit coming every twenty days… perhaps, it’s because i’ve been rocked by grandmother all day in her generous lap… perhaps, it’s simply a beautiful mystery of how this galaxy of light came to be the image for this week’s installment of showing you the astonishing light of your being…

here, you can see yourself, another precious child of light in the Beloved’s interdependent web of life…
