and, always re-member the stars are within you… yes, we are star dust… tens of tons are dropped on gaia daily and onto the fields where our food is grown and onto our water and onto all our relations… so, yes, reach for the stars within, explore your destiny, your purpose, your dream… a journey requiring your wholehearted presence, ever expanding faithful trust, surrendering to love and divinely aligning with source, with flow… yes, reach for the stars within your being, the sparks igniting the inner light and shine, shine, shine… your radiance illumines the heavens above and the earth below, so glow my beauties, glow, glow, glow…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 3 – Day 247 – 8/19/2016

Named Awakening August 19 Wedding Trip Pilgrimage 047 Oceanside Cape Meares

for the past four hundred and seventeen days, i have gathered with another in a sacred communion to voice lovingkindness blessings for all that is… each evening we join at the threshold of dreamtime to offer ourselves, everything we are, to the all that is… we envision the whole cosmos joining us and experiencing our true reality of oneness where we see all that is as numinous love… i love seeing us all right in this moment reciting this blessing prayed every morning by His Holiness the Dalai Lama… all of us be longing, belonging and blessing our belonging in the sacred hoop, web of life, the interconnection of trillions of golden threads woven into a fluid tapestry, a boundless sea of love energy…

May I be a guard for those who need protection

A guide for those on the path

A boat, a raft, a bridge for those who wish to cross the flood

May I be a lamp in the darkness

A resting place for the weary

A healing medicine for all who are sick

A vase of plenty, a tree of miracles

And for the boundless multitudes of living beings

May I bring sustenance and awakening

Enduring like the earth and sky

Until all beings are freed from sorrow

And all are awakened.

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 3 – Day 246 – 8/18/2016

Named Awakening August 18 Rainbow Spider Web.

Humankind has not woven the thread of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.
– Chief Seattle –

i love the full moon and bathing in her radiance, feeling her spinning the great web of life… i love this moment of sun and moon standing directly opposite calling in the marriage of the opposites, the alchemical wedding connecting heaven and earth… and so, an image of rainbow dances across the field, quintessential symbol of harmony, balance and connection…

and, i re-member that day 29 years ago when we were celebrating harmonic convergence, the dawning of a new age, an age of aquarius… yes, may peace guide the planet as more and more of our relations make the great turning, shifting back into our one heart… letting go of control and planning and managing, coming home to presence, trust, surrender, divine flow… heaven on earth… thanks be for the threads all flowing together creating a more perfect union of cosmic harmony…

all things in the universe are infinitely interconnected. everything is representing the larger whole. I am a unique spark, a fractal of light eternally residing within the vast oceanic sea of consciousness, existence itself. wholeness resides within me and thee…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 3 – Day 245 – 8/17/2016

Named Awakening August 17 turtle_hatching

everywhere i am today feels like a hatchery; every circle, a nest of hatchlings breaking free from constriction and expanding into a more spacious home, an open heart… as with any birth, growth, transition, transformation, there is pain which underlines the importance of our nestling together and embracing each other’s journey through the birth canal into the river of awakening that flows into the ocean of love…

yes, these moments, as all moments, are the perfect ones to embrace what is, to befriend whatever comes our way… to meet each moment fully, to meet it as a friend… Rumi says it so beautifully…

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice.
meet them at the door laughing and invite them in.

Be grateful for whatever comes.
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

yes, what a mantra, what a practice for coming home to the heart,,, here, embrace and reverence trust..

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 3 – Day 244 – 8/16/2016

Named Awakening August 16 Caravan of Re-Joy-Sing Confluence Dedication at Chief Timothy 019

on awakening, i re-member a dream of being in a field where the Beloved Communion dwells and hearing that our mission is to sing… as on so many awakenings, a melody sings me as i luxuriate in this liminal space with one sole in dreamtime and the other in awaketime…

are you hearing beloved singing you? listen a little deeper for the cosmic hum as you suspend noise and distraction in this moment, this beautiful moment… are you hearing the whispers of the ancestors flowing through our oceanic body? ah yes, let’s pause here in the stillpoint and align with the rhythm of our one heart…

may earth’s song reach into our deepest and wildest sacred spaces… may we hear the melodic voices of all our relations: stones, stars, streams, breezes, sand, sun, ocean, currents, plants, starfish, seas, planets, creatures, rivers, and winds… may our inhalations inspire re-joy-sing and our exhalations re-sound and re-verberate loingkindness and harmony throughout the watery womb of our one heart…

sing, sing, wherever you are, a song of compassion blessing pachamama, the spirit of land, the spirit of life, the one spirit encircling us all…

Named Awakening August 15 Lao Tzu Let Go for ReBirth 9-13-15 010

today is one of those days on the pilgrimage filled with many moments of disorientation as veils fall away and dams are dismantled… all around me is breakdown and chaos and still the center holds… such a day, such a moment, this beautiful moment of being out of the circle of time and gravity and into the circle of love…

“This is love: to fly toward a secret sky, to cause a hundred veils to fall each moment. First to let go of life. Finally, to take a step without feet.”

~ Rumi ~

attuning us all to the peace of great mystery…

as we stand in love today, invoke the beloved in your own way… perhaps, you’ll place your hand on your heart and call up the image of a relation you love… or maybe spend time in the company of a tree or play in water and squeal with glee… whatever it is, float in the ocean of devotion with your whole heart…

Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage – Year 3 – Day 239 – 8/11/2016

Named Awakening August 11- 13 Indigenous Grandmothers Internat'l Council of

today’s pilgrimage is a twofold celebration… on the one hand, a belated Indigenous Day celebration (truth be told, everyday is such a day and for all our relations) and on the other a foreshadowing of a weekly celebration beginning this Sunday with sharing the astonishing beauty of the light flowing through us…

most of today’s post comes from an email from the International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers about the upcoming Creation to Completion Healing Retreat in honor of Grandmother Beatrice Long Visitor Holy Dance…

Upon completing a full cycle that began at Menla twelve-years ago with the creation of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers, the Grandmothers Council will come together, for one last time, to complete their circle of prayer around the planet…

Listen now to this story of light, this unfolding prayer of peace…

Grandmothers Council: Chronology Summary:

IN A MAGICAL VALLEY, protected by the ancient spirits of the towering Catskill Mountains, a sacred fire was lit.

“The flame that kindled the sacred fire was originally ignited in 1986 just outside the United Nations building by Chief Shenandoah of the Iroquois Nation. He rubbed two sticks together to create a spark, then lit a torch for peace in the International Year of Peace. That morning, in the gleaming sunlight of a beautiful sunrise, the UN building shone like the envisioned “Great Hall of Mica” spoken of in Hopi prophecy for over a thousand years. A message was to be delivered at an amazing shining place at the time of the “Great Turning” in hopes of ushering in a millennium of peace in the world. The Hopi knew the times described in the prophecy had come.”

The next step for the council was to continue their mission for global peace in Mexico. The town of Huautla de Jiménez welcomed the Grandmothers with an honorary parade through the town and also provided for the meeting place in the government center.

“We need to keep hope alive. It is like a never-ending story. In my village there is violence. What is happening in my village is happening in the world. At this moment, we need our faith. We need to make that faith stronger so we can continue doing our spiritual work and continue helping others.” – Grandmother Julieta
