i awaken today on this next to last day of awakening august with two words playing through me… maitri and karuna… lovingkindness and compassion… how much i need these nutrients, this sun and water… how much we all require these most essential nutrients as we meet each moment fully, as we meet it as a friend…

the more turbulence in the world, the more we are called to be lovingkindness for ourselves and all others… today’s turbulence and ruptures also whisper of letting go, of traveling lightly between the worlds of here and now and the great beyond… deeper and deeper into mystery, the silence beyond all words…

i’m beyond words today, so, I’m going to let Rilke’s words to a young poet stand for me and sink in to all my tired, frustrated cells… I’m walking a forgotten path today – translation – trying to design a new website and it’s mercury retrograde, perhaps you can resonate, such sage encouragement for a moment like this, for any and every moment…

… have patience with everything unresolved in your heart
and to try to love the questions themselves
as if they were locked rooms or books written
in a very foreign language.
Don’t search for the answers,
which could not be given to you now,

thank you for being rainmakers, harmony beings, wherever we are… in our own forms, in all sacred spaces here and beyond… with every breath and in every moment, may we thank the waters of life for all the blessings given by water, the source of life, our original home, our eternal home…

if you are able to visit a body of water in the physical world, wonderful… re-member, we are bodies of water, so, every breath that blows through us is moisturized by the inner river flowing through us… thank you, water, for giving us life and sustaining us…

water, in this moment we honor you and thank you for nourishing the dried up spaces in and around us and bringing us back to life…

water, we see through our water eye we are one vast sea of love energy and commit to being stewards of you listening deeply to your songs teaching us and showing us the way to share with all children of the earth reverence for water, source of life, reverence for water, teacher of how to be, reverence for water, healer and anointer of life everlasting…

today marks an important day in herstory/history as it’s the day in 1920 of the certification of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution granting American women the right to vote—a right known as woman suffrage…

it’s a perfect day to celebrate all women of peace, all people of peace making herstory/ourstory with being peace…

yes, today is a lovely moment to honor and celebrate the inspiration, the mother of this journey, someone being this peace pilgrimage every moment…

peace pilgrim, in her late forties, committed to walking the planet being peace and in so doing, she planted and spread peace across the world demonstrating that a life lived trusting in a world of lovingkindness reaps an abundant harvest… never once did she lack for a ride or a meal or a place to sleep finding beauty always surrounding her every step, every breath…

thank you for joining in the peace pilgrimage and making her story, our story, history…

Happy 100 Years!

to celebrate 100 years of the national parks in the USA, it seems ever so fitting to have the father and poet laureate of these temples weigh in  on a beautiful way to pilgrimage into peace, for, by exploring the great outdoors, we spiral indoors into our own true nature and simultaneously see the beauty all around…

i’m celebrating today with an inner pilgrimage back to one of my favorite parks (how i’d love to visit all 59!) and re-membering the first sighting, the falling in love, the feeling of coming home to a place that lives always in me… and hearing the sound of flowing water wherever i am in this garden home with beauty abounding from wherever one stands in this expansive space and stories pouring forth from the ancestors going back to the great silence and into the beyond… gratitude flows spontaneously for the waterfalls and bird songs and wind… for all the four leggeds calling this true refuge home and the sun and moon and stars and the sky that goes on forever and ever like great mystery, our eternal home…

     may we all keep close to true nature within and without, above and below                    sacred space of illumination, place of our one heart’s radiant glow…

enjoy, in joy, a walk in the wilds…

Named Awakening August 24 Epiphany Magical Moment.

once again, i was taken down a different road today and transported through a portal, a wormhole of real-eye-sing, epiphany, revelation… this magical moment began with a drive in the epiphany mobile followed by a couple of serendipitous messages sending me on a merry chase, a treasure hunt into grace…

a threshold ray, a wave of light breaks through the clouds landing in the center of earth and this on the day we hear of a sister earth planet neighboring ours… embracing the moment, i open to mystery and find myself crawling through a tunnel, following the call to come home to our one heart, the space of belonging, gathering place for all our relations…

we come home to re-connect with earth mother and listen for her deep songs blessing us all… in this moment, this magical moment, this moment of deep reverence, we can hear the cosmic hum of our one heart singing silently, resonating rainbow mystery, the promise of harmony is in play even as turbulence abounds today…

now is the moment to breathe in love deeply and feel that wave flowing, flowing through all… when we abide in the center of the wheel being love medicine, truly real, we feel our one heart breaking wide open, vast expansive spaciousness, hearth of warm welcome…

the magical mystery tour is just that today… taking me down a rainbow trail less traveled, we land in a hood unknown to me… magical elderhood, a lovely space, one even might say divine, a mystical place full of grace where fields of sage abound…

so i saunter over to learn about saging, come and explore with me… as we breathe in the frequency of sage, feel your true nature coming alive and as we breathe out, the false self is released… we are coming home to our true self, to loving presence in a flowing field of spaciousness where being in the moment is all there is and all there is, is in the moment… how wild and precious to come home to self – stillness, essence, love flow…

yes, i love this field of sage and saging; i am home, i have arrived…

we offer great thanks to our mother the earth, our father the sky, sister moon,  brother sun and to all our relations for our earth walk, the way of the heart…

as we (s)age into grace we return to where we began… the garden of eden, heaven on earth and we see everything as if for the first time… this present moment, this ordinary moment, this extraordinary moment all one in the same…

when we rest fully in this moment, dwelling in the consciousness of the divine, we embody  awe, awakened wonderfilled energy, and radiant light fills our being shining everywhere…

now, we are home, we have arrived…

dear co-hearts of our one heart,

for the second sunday’s “I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being” feature, Mt Rainier stands majestically for us all as the brilliant white light we are… Tahoma, as she is known by the first people, calls us home to our one heart, to our first consciousness, to our original home to surrender to love…

i share this heartfelt message fra angelico said to his co-hearts a half a millennium ago, it expresses what i want to say today and everyday…

“I salute you. I am your friend, and my love for you goes deep.

There is nothing I can give you which you have not already, but there is much, very much, which though I cannot give it, you can take.

No heaven can come to us unless our hearts find rest in today.

Take heaven.

No peace lies in the future which is not hidden in this precious little instant.

Take peace.

The gloom of the world is but a shadow. Behind it, yet within our reach is joy. There is radiance and courage in the darkness could we but see; and to see, we have only to look.

Life is so generous a giver, but we, judging its gifts by their coverings, cast them away as ugly or heavy or hard. Remove the covering, and you will find beneath it a living splendor, woven of love, and wisdom, and power. Welcome it, greet it, and you touch the angel’s hand that brings it.

Everything we call a trial, a sorrow, a duty, believe me, that angel’s hand is there, the gift is there, and the wonder of an overshadowing Presence.
