being present in flowing life currents… opening to this wild moment of creation… breathing in and breathing out… ebbing and flowing… dancing the mystery… gliding through the hard places and reflecting the light hidden within… always trusting that in surrendering to the beloved, love opens the way and we are home in our one heart…
may we all be as openhearted as trees…
these words perfectly reflect today’s pilgrimage which begins in the shadows of feeling small and not up to the challenges of the moment… breathing in prana from the earth mother and up through the extended root system into every cell and radiating out the golden light into father sky and beyond…
always coming home to the heart, to the garden of peace, being present in the moment, in the presence of the beloved… resting in the stillpoint, the unchanging, taking a pregnant pause in a moment of feeling so stretched and uncomfortable right before birth… in this moment of presence, i open more fully to this outer move as birthing the new… surrendering to nature, to love and creating from this sacred space… YES! to full blooming lotushood…
In honor of Dr Emoto, i re-member beginning this phase of the pilgrimage almost 3 years ago by occupying the abundance of infinite love and gratitude where now i dwell… So, i’m contemplating on this day of peace how pure the water that fills the body so that we are shining crystals of light in the garden of eden… Thank you, rest in peace…
Rain/Tears

falling from the heavens above
kissing the earth gently with love
soaking into every cell
awakening our re-membering all is well

arise to a rainy day whispering poetry through me like the wind rustling through the tree leaves… I AM rain gently soaking into and softening the earth of being erasing all borders and boundaries like water flowing into the river and emptying into ocean… to celebrate and honor timelessness today, i swim with koi in the garden of zen returning to source to breathe out and breathe in… dancing this wild and precious moment again and again…
i feel as if i’ve been walking blindly for days as i move through the tunnel toward higher ground… today, i feel an energetic shift as the quicksand i’ve been slogging through turns into solid soil and the trust visualized is trust embodied… Opening our one heart to me, opens our one heart to all and drops the blinders from eyes now open to seeing the light that is always here… the light infusing every wild cell inspiring being for giving… welcome home children of the light…
today’s pilgrimage begins in chaos, the primordial space that gives birth to a dancing star when one stays present in what is, standing tall in the center, welcoming what comes with a SMILE, softening into the obstacles, being like water, coming home to the heart of a child, innocence abides here at play in the field of dancing diamonds…
feeling lost at sea, the way out i cannot see until i hear great mystery whispering to let it be… you are in flow wherever you go, surely you know there is only flow… a moment of crisis brings us to our knees, a perfect place to re-lease… all illusions of separation transmuted now into the field of unification… returning home to the watery womb, resurrected now from the dark tomb…
there are not words for the beauty of this 13th day of Open Hearted October, the 301st day of the Poetic PEACE Pilgrimage and the 1st day of re-walking in beauty on the golden rainbow trail… the earth is moving under my feet while the great magnet pulls me along an unknown path… into the tiny space of the heart where i spend moment after moment breathing in this sacred space and releasing what is now stagnant into the fire in the belly and breathing it out as black smoke transformed into golden light as it flows into the cosmos…
there are not words for the beauty of the sounding and resounding of the cosmic hum played in the melody of love and the key of oneness, so i offer an image, a gift of magic from a high dune of drifting sand nestled between the sea and the sky where the light of the sun converses freely with all that listen whispering of always being love…
Friday’s news that the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Malala Yousafzai, a remarkable young woman from Pakistan who risked her life to speak up for equal education opportunities for girls reminds me of another young girl named Sadako Sasaki who died of leukemia ten years after the atomic bombing in Hiroshima during World War II.
Sadako was two years old when she was exposed to the A-bomb. With no apparent injuries, she grew into a strong and healthy girl. However, nine years later when she was in the sixth grade of elementary school she suddenly developed signs of an illness. In February the following year (1955) she was diagnosed with leukemia and admitted to the Hiroshima Red Cross Hospital. Believing that folding paper cranes would help her recover, she kept folding them to the end, but on October 25, 1955, after an eight-month struggle with the disease, she passed away.
Sadako’s death triggered a campaign to build a Children’s Peace Monument to pray for world peace and the peaceful repose of the many children killed by the atomic bomb. Approximately 10 million cranes are offered each year before the Children’s Peace Monument.

Additionally, you may enter your name and message for peace into the Paper Crane Database so that your desire for peace is recorded for posterity.
